    As someone who climbed up those stairs from the train station and then hiked to the next town you definitely did it the 'right' way!😀

    We love Cinque Terre! We used to drive a lot to a town called Levanto, which is technically not Cinque Terre anymore but right next to it. From there we could take the boat or the Vespa into the great little cities! Great video, thanks for sharing!

    Everything about Cinque Terre looks straight out of a fairytale… including the pesto! We didn’t know about this gem until AFTER we left Italy unfortunately. Might have to add it to our next trip!

    Your video and comments give a feel about this region in a perfect way. Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks a lot for that!

    Great video! We're heading to Italy in the fall and one of our stops is Cinque Terre and we're also staying in Riomaggiore as well. The video was very informative and insightful for what each town had to offer!

    From IL. I have found your itinerary perfect match for what I have put together. The season also matches as we will be heading out during spring break for my daughter. Thank you and Garrett for putting together these videos. So, we would be heading to CT on Mar 30 2023 via Pisa. We are four of us. Would you please share some insights as to where to purchase pesto. Any Vegetarian food tips, if u happened to know. Also how was the weather during end of Mar beginning of April.
    Thank You. Subscribed.

      👋🏼 hi there! First, thanks so much for watching and subscribing! We are so glad you found these videos useful! As for where to stay-all the towns in CT are great so you can’t go wrong there. Hotels are few and far between (and super expensive) so we’d recommend looking at VRBOs (they seemed to have better rates and options in the area than AirBnB). This also will include a kitchen-which helped us save money in the area. We stopped at the market and bought groceries for breakfast and dinner one night-which was super fun and felt very “local”. The region is know for Pesto-which is great on rice or pasta as a vegetarian option! Also if you get the Cinque Terre pass you can ride the trains and hike the trails. We didn’t do any other activities there so it was actually pretty close effective. In April you’ll want a light jacket for hiking-there may be some spring showers and it will be too cool to swim-but perfect for hiking! Let us know if you have any other questions! Hoping you have a great time in Italy 🇮🇹

    Are those S/W usig Focaccia bread easy to bite/chew? Seems quite hard

    • @explorinwithlaurin
      @explorinwithlaurin  Год назад +1

      Eating the focaccia bread isn't as hard as it looks. The first bite is a bit tough, but chewing is quite easy. Don't recommend if anyone has braces though! 😁

    I have tried the fira to oia hike and thought that was extreme as I thought I might fall off the cliff with the soft grounds. How was this hike compared to santorini?
