I’d say secure the Afrikan tribes in the south, I know their slinger spam sucks but still getting rid of them secures your rear flank ’cause they are against the edge of the map!
This channel is an absolute gem (your Seleucid and Kush campaigns are some of my favourite tw content ever). Also, not only are you great at the game, but you also managed to make a terrible tw game like Rome2 look fun to watch. It might take time, but I genuinely hope this channel explodes and gets the popularity it deserves. For me, even though I don't have much to add, I'll make sure to do my part, liking all your videos and commenting as much as I can.
So excited to see you playing Carthage! I've been hoping you'd pick them soon. The handicaps are seriously tough, so I'm really curious to see how you’ll handle them, especially later when the units get stronger and the armies grow. Also, the game looks stunning, and the higher resolution is a great improvement!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! Yeah, I hope it will be really challenging throughout. Rome 2 lacks end game challenges so these restrictions should keep it engaging
Playing on legendary check, adding This is Total War achievement where you declare war on everyone check also playing as a faction that has a hard start check and not to mention you are adding limitations. General this will be pain and to be honest I think that you love it 😍
They're OK for the first few turns but once you have access to Carthaginian hoplites you should only hire those as they are better in every respect. The main issue with Lybian hoplites is they are to expensive for what they offer, but they do become better when upgraded to late lybian hoplites as they gain 25 armour
@TotalWarfare i agree with about those, yea the carthaginian hoplites are very good. Libiyan hoplites do what they are supposed to do their not an elite unit a mid tier who can do dcenet enough job until you get the top tier. The price doesn't make them trash
Strong for sure but not anywhere near as broken as in Rome 1. They have weaknesses (javelins, flaming arrows, pikes) making them somewhat balanced compared to R1
You know what, it might actually be possible, you'd just need to build everywhere all the buildings increasing garrison size. But, it'd be boring AF and take like 500 turns
I'm surprised you're surprised that the slingers are holding against your cavalry for so long, the answer my friend is the game is a huge load of crap, nothing in it make sense, they just wanted some money from gamers
Where should we go next - East, West, North or South?
I’d say secure the Afrikan tribes in the south, I know their slinger spam sucks but still getting rid of them secures your rear flank ’cause they are against the edge of the map!
NORTH!!
@@mrantmr6782 second that!
@@kasiachm Thanks man! :D
North. Straight through Sicily and Italy!

It will be a massive pain especially once we face swordsmen from Iberia and Italy and pikes from Egypt and Syria! No pain no gain though!
>first battle has 69 losses on your side
It's a sign: this is going to be a good campaign.
Haha!
If you play more battles like this i will watch 1000 EP 🎉
Haha! I hope it won't take that long to complete the campaign!
20:06 Total Warfare - " Yeah they are Beautifully Starved "
Haha!
You talk like Floki in the Vikings show lol😁🙏 I love your accent and tonation... Are you a Viking
Good, i want to see the whole campaign
great commentary on the fly brother. where ya from dude? sound italian.
Are there any updates about Etruscan campaign?
Back soon!
This guys a gamer
Fine I will play Rome 2 again
Haha! Wish you many heroic victories!
I tried to play this on very hard difficulty and i rage quit after like 10 turns
Baal hammon gives us strength!
Did you stop the Etruscan parabellum campaign?
Yeah, will be back soon!
Nice start! Can you tell me on what graphic settings you are playing?
Thanks! All settings maxed out, plus some mods to improve graphics (list in the description)
Can you expand the besieged city to make slums?
how do you attack with an army on double time? use of mods?
You can't initiate attack in forced march, but you can reinforce if in range
Have you considered playing Total War Attilla? Perhaps WRE?
Yeah, any suggestions for what faction to pick for first playthrough? I know WRE is very popular but would rather play a small faction first
@@TotalWarfare Hello I think either Saxons or Franks would be nice option for the start in my opinion.
The libian hoplites seems decent not trash in the end they are a medium intantry not a top tier one

How come you don’t play with DEI mod?
Playing new campain taking Rome.
Elephants are so broken in this game.
Strong for sure but not anywhere near as broken as in Rome 1. They have weaknesses (javelins, flaming arrows, pikes) making them somewhat balanced compared to R1
Please don’t stop kush Campaign
Don't worry, the next episode very soon!
Now do only one full stack for the whole campaign 😂
You know what, it might actually be possible, you'd just need to build everywhere all the buildings increasing garrison size. But, it'd be boring AF and take like 500 turns
Has anyone told you that you speak like Floki from Vikings show??
Try to play divide et impera mod, vanilla its to easy
hell yeah u should go east

i will never understand why ppl play the default Rome2. It doesn't make sense. AI is too weak, difficulty is easy even on hard.
What would you recommend?
