Hope is amazing but David Roback (the guitar player) is unsung. if you listen to the body of his work from Rain Parade (their first album) through Opal to Mazzy Star it's evident that his guitar playing - work - songwriting - touch comes from equal "depths" as Hope's singing - work - songwriting - touch.
AS BEAUTIFUL AS HOPES VOICE IZZZZZZZ & NOT 2 MENTION & ANGEL OF HUMANS BOTH IN HER LOOKS & VOICE.. BUT THE SOUND QUALITY IS NOT EVEN AVERAGE AT BEST ... I GET IT THAT ITS AN ACOUSTIC. BUT AS BEAUTIFUL AS THAT ANGEL OF A VOICE SHE HAS THIS THUMBNAIL (VIDEO) & SOUND QUALITY DOESN'T DO HER JUSTICE... BUT STILL LIKE ANY REALLY GREAT VOICE SHE STILL MANAGES 2 SOUND SO BEAUTIFUL

I'm convinced from her Mexican Indian ancestors,as 85% of Mexicans are part Indian,part European.Check google images for "Ancient Mayan Art" & you'll see profile paintings of Mayans with profiles just like Hope's.Or check frontal photos of modern Mexican Indians faces&you'll find lots of broad,round faces just like Hope's! Mayan princess beauty!
It can be an odd feeling after many years coming across old comments one left on yt years previously (like this one of mine) and seeing them again. It's like, 'What, I wrote this?" Actually, I recall now voicing this theory about Hope's looks likely deriving in part from native ancestry she might have as a Mexican American. It's 7 years later, and I shall stand by my theory!

I enjoy Hope's music so much I wish i knew where to find more of it. She seems to pull it from the deepest parts of her being.
