  • This is my rendition of The Dance of Death, a song from Patrick Sky's 1968 LP, Reality Is Bad Enough. The album has never been released on CD or any digital format.
Written in 1967, the song is a satire of the social and political problems of the 1960s, such as corruption, greed, poverty and war. Pat uses the metaphor of a dance of death to describe how different groups of people are trapped in their own vices and doomed to suffer the consequences. The singer also expresses his own despair and resignation as he has to join the dance and witness the chaos around him. The song is in drop D tuning and I basically stole the guitar arrangements from Pat's own version.
The lyrics and chords to the song can be found at ddpro.ucoz.com....
