Is this just standard FSR3? Or is the frame gen the fluid motion frames not fully released yet?

FSR3 + the built in Frame Generation (not fluid motion frames)

Im not sure on the specifics but it felt fine
40 fps w FSR feels like 30 native
60-70 w FSR feels like 50 fps native

It's almost unnoticeable when using sticks.

Ally is better than Steam Deck but I can't decide between
Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

Both use z1 extreme ( ally have 2 version the z1 and z1 extreme) Lenovo go it costs more with the same z1 extreme, arround 150€ more? Atleast on my country.
Both are good. Ally its smaller and its lighter, like 600g to 900g difference. Some people Said ally perform better on most games but Im not sure, they should be almost the same with different design. Lenovo go its an Steam deck with rog ally and switch style.

Let me help you, if you are more of a casual gamer, meaning that you wont be playing many AAA heavy games then maybe go with the steam deck BUT keep in mind that steam deck is very limited because it doesnt have windows.. so you wont have stuff like gamepass, epic games, battlenet Ecc ecc.. you wont even be able to play call of duty, valorant and games like that.. since they are not in the steam store.. but with the rog ally you will be able to play these games cause you can also install other services like gamepass for example…
but if you’re a gamer that loves heavier games like the AAA ones then just forget about the steam deck and get the ally since its 20-50% more powerful than the steam deck.. you will have a more pleasent experience with it.. its not limited at all so you can have gamepass for example and I just absolutely LOVE it.. the gamepass offers such a large catalog of great games such as diablo 4, assassins screed games, elder scrolls and MANY other big titles.. the steam deck on the other hand may be more comfy because its user friendly.. so you can just pick it up and quickly play without having to do anything, exactly like any other console… the rog ally is literally a pc, you will be able to adjust MANY things based on the games you wanna play..
so you choose.. if you want something more like a console, thats extremely easy and seamless to use without having to tweak any settings but only having games from the steam store then sure u can go for the steam deck
but if you want something more powerful that can handle heavier games and you just don’t mind tweaking with the settings a bit (like you would would do with a normal pc) then YES the ally is for you!

@ladygaia4782 thank you, so the steam deck is definitely a no, ally apparently has 2 major issues and people are getting con'd by the RMA, msi claw is intel arc i want 60fps in alot of games, 50 would be nice for red dead.. lenovo is a brand i have had bad experience in the past so wont even touch them.. its definitely a toss up between claw or ally though.
