I’ve read that you can type phone numbers from the previous Arkham games and it works Also try and look at the file Harvey Dent is holding at the beginning of the game
3:54 While that stance is much like one seen used by Nightwing, anyone skilled in using batons or similar weapons will use it as well, and while the hairdo is very similar to the aforementioned hero, it can't be him just due to Dick Grayson's background, because, A: Batman took him under his care and mentorship after Dick's parents were murdered and trained him to be the first Robin. and was Robin well into his early adulthood before becoming Nightwing and founding the Teen Titans after he had a falling out with his long time friend and mentor.
The Batman identity theory board is also a reference to "Batman" the movie from 1989. The press office writing stories about the mysterious Batman have the exact same board on their wall.
4:12 It is Dick Grayson because literally in the credits Dr. Leslie Tomkins talks to Bruce about him saying she was "looking into that young rat king follower" for him, and in the game files the characters texture are labeled as Nightwing/Dick Grayson
@@HansDampf-bt8jy Arkham lore doesn't always align with the main series. For instance, the Penguin in the Arkham games had a broken bottle jammed into his skull, which makes it look like he's wearing a monocle.
@@HansDampf-bt8jyMaybe in this version of nightwing had a different beginning, maybe Bruce wasn’t there for this version of him when his parents were killed, the circus probably shut down from his family’s death. He probably joined the rats after dealing with being homeless for so long.
The Young Rat at 4:10… if you look at his jacket it’s apparently a Haley’s Circus or Flying Grayson’s jacket. Which is another hint that he’s Dick Grayson.
There's evidence that that other Batman and that dark creature that we saw as Matches was entering Blackgate was Barbara as Batgirl. In the GCPD, we see a newspaper article about how a Batman like vigilante saved Gordan from Killer Moth, which is how she became Batgirl in the Arkham comics. As well, we see her in Shrike's apartment, which means that she's been getting more involved in the physical side of stuff. Also, she would be smaller than Batman, which would explain what the thugs saw.
i feel like it's gotta be nightwing as that one thug, the stance could've totally been a coincidence but there's pretty much no reason for the hood to fall back and reveal the same exact hair that nightwing has
@damienrodriguez1943 that doesn't totally discredit the theory, it could just mean that when Dicks parents were murdered he went down the wrong path for a bit until batman decided to get him on the straight and narrow
He has the same voice actor, and the end credits has dialogue saying there is a former rat thug(a kid) who Bruce should talk to. It's 100% dick grayson.
It is Dick Grayson because literally in the credits Dr. Leslie Tomkins talks to Bruce about him saying she was "looking into that young rat king follower" for him
On the same newspaper with the reference to Batmite, you can see that the name of the gang's leader is "Payday", and since Gotham is inspired by New York and Payday 3 takes place in New York, I think it's a safe bet to say that it's a reference to the Payday Gang from the Payday franchise.
I loved the little touches like Brenden and Boles being guards at Blackgate, Firefly and Black Mask and Joker in solitary, Bird, Boyle, Bronze Tiger and Ricky Loose Lips all cameo in Blackgate!
The young thug is Dick Grayson. In game other thugs talk about how talented he is with acrobatics and is a quick learner. Another is at the very end of the credits, Bruce is scheduled to meet Dick Grayson the young rat thug he fought that gave him a little challenge and hints he’s up for adoption. It’s definitely him. What’s crazy is that this was an untrained Dick Grayson and he was giving Batman a challenge. Crazy he wasn’t even Robin yet
Something even cooler about the Harley Quinn part is when you die on the sniper tower segment, the death dialogue is "Mr.J was right. You really can't make a difference." Which is a nod from one of Arkham asylums interview tapes
If I recall, the board at 3:10 is a reference to the first Keaton Batman movie. When we see Knox walking into the office, before he meets Vale, the other reporters make fun of him. One says, "Oh! Hey! Count Dracula" and the other asks about Bigfoot.
8:00 I think it’s batgirl because in the game Barbara (I think I spelled it correctly) feels like she has fought people before, and it says the the bite size bat saved Gordon, which is like her origin in that batgirl begins (I think that’s the right comic), where she like took a bat suit that I think the GCPD made and fought some people and has saved Gordon which could mean that newspaper meant batgirl

4:16 someone got to look to the game files the textures names says directly its Dick Grayson known as Nightwing also on the jacket he has a logo of the circus the flying Graysons where in and after beating throwing him through the wall litteraly on the left theres a poster of canceled show of flying Graysons implying Tony Zucco already killed his parents and later in credits we can hear dialoge between Bruce and Leslie about an young rat whos under her care Bruce asked about and the striker whos in arkham shadow his "brother" in comics is a Nightwing villlain
I 100% believe that the rat you fight in the prologue, is Dick Grayson. 1) The fighting stance and hair are for sure sign. 2) Shrike, the guy that burns himself at the end of the prologue, is a character in the comics that has been friends with Dick in his younger years. and in the game shrike does have a younger accomplice that sees him as a younger brother, which is the same guy you fight in the theater. 3) And finally, In the end credits you get a message from Leslie Thompkins, talking about how she found the wayward rat the he was looking for and that he should speak to him. Showing that specific character wasn't just some random goon. in all honesty i really like the route they took to show off the beginnings of all these characters, it certainly fills a lot of potholes in the Arkham games and I can safely say this is in my top three best Arkham games.
I could be wrong (as I've not played this game yet) but at 06:39 when you're talking about the radio stations, that voice sounds like the character Jack Ryder who appears in numerous other Arkham games. In the comics, Jack Ryder is a journalist and talk show host, who is also a metahuman that transforms into - The Creeper.
for the figure which stands upon the gargoyle isn't Batman himself; but I do believe that is the Phantasm; from the movie Batman and the Mask of the Phantasm. now when it come to the dues that uses the fighting stance similar to Nightwing, I do not think that's him. The way he stands is a pretty natural martial art, kung fu, and other mixed-martial art stance. so being Nightwing is in my opinion just a coincidence.
2 new games in the Arkham universe and still no one's shown the alternate dialogue in Knight if you spare (or then shoot after sparing) the penguin as Joker

Over used video game Easter eggs! 😊
Huh,I'm early.
Bruce Wayne, 0.2% lol
4:10 It's not Dick Grayson. If the game is really canon to the Arkham games, then he has the same backstory as he has in the comics, which doesn't include him working for the Rat King.
Hi
👍🏾👍🏾
Arkham Asylum has the Riddler ask if the player looked up a guide on the internet, so… yeah, not that impressive here.
Yippeeeeee
I think I’m over qualified for this video
Not only did I beat the story I also 100% it
meta sucks, out of usa the guarranty is instantly void...im in mexico
Wow they royally fucked Nightwing. It's just as backwards as the Flash becoming the Flash BEFORE getting into CCPD forensics in the DCU.
Also this game looks terrible and fuck the meta quest.
Ngl I always thought you were black
lol what made you think that?
Meta?! Urgh no thanks
That can't be nightwing. Pre nightwing was Robin. So that theory doesn't make any sense.
You're an idiot
Bro what ?
this might shock you, but before Nightwing was Robin, he still existed. He wasn't born Robin.
