In Saints Row IV, you can choose your character to be voiced by Nolan North, and a little after beginning the game (when you start breaking the simulation) Another character, Kinzey, will tell your character to just be them selves. This causes your character to say “Just be Nolan? Okay” small but funny detail.
Don't know if this is in other games or has been covered. But in Crysis 2 + 3, possibly 1 as well. If you reload a gun that uses bullets when the mag isn't empty, the gun will have a full mag plus one in the chamber. This is also reflected in the ammo indicator.
Talking about details: On Mafia I and III, while driving inside a tunnel, the music on the radio will have interference. For some reason this detail is missing on Mafia II
That claptrap one reminded me of the original MW2 calling you a chicken if you were about to hit the prestige, but then backed out at the last warning.
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but in LumBearjack, the level called 'Good Swing', if you destroy the four small buildings and slap the humans inside, they turn into the Ghostbusters.
Just happened to me yesterday, in new update of FnF, while playing pico on any of his songs, there is a chance that you die while he’s trying to shoot up the cigarette
FYI, the Battlefield V detail about getting the character's thumb stuck is based around the outbreak of "Garand Thumb" in WWII. Garand Thumb is the result of (you guessed it) the operator of the firearm having the slide snap forward on their thumb after incorrectly reloading the firearm. Many new servicemen who trained in bootcamp caught a case of Garand Thumb before deployment, but like chicken pox, it was a one time thing... hopefully. I wouldn't say that detail punishes the player for shooting, it just punishes for randomly reloading the gun incorrectly.
The sniper elite details go deeper than that! In Sniper Elite 5 the NPC fun facts even interact with each other. For instance, one soldier "likes to graffiti anti-war propoganda on the bathroom walls in the barracks" while another standing right next to him "wonders who keeps putting anti war graffiti up in the barracks".

@@The_SafeKeeper Hi, thnks so much for this feedback. It brings to mind the difference between the Arkham games (and the amount of easter eggs there) and... that new Rocksteady game....
Hey man, gaming has always been filled with greedy dumbasses who only care about making a quick buck. You can see this all the way back to the arcade days, and this actually caused the gaming industry to completely crash in the atari days. The good news is that there will also always be developers who actually care about their games. David Eddings doesn't even work at Gearbox anymore. I still stand by Suicide Squad being a good game. Is it flawed? Absolutely. Being live-service really ruined the game's reputation, and damaged Rocksteady's. But I blame WB for that, since live-service means contant microtransactions, which is a monetary function. And considering how WB are responsible for the bullshit microtransactions in the newer Mortal Kombat games, it's safe to assume they're guilty of ruining Suicide Squad. The gameplay, story, acting, and graphics are all amazing. The biggest issues I had personally were the live-service (I had to take my PS5 to my stepdad's I order to play the damn game because I can't even afford internet in my own apartment, so being live-service, I can't even play it offline), and the lack of variety in the missions, which again, I blame WB, not Rocksteady. If WB weren't so fucking crooked and evil, we might have gotten a much better game. But they ruin everything they touch (Batgirl, Coyote vs Acme, RoosterTeeth, etc) and promote the things that are ALREADY shit (Velma, Tuca and Bertie, etc). I'd honestly like to see a "Snyder Cut" style 2nd attempt at KTJL, without interference from WB. Just let Rocksteady make the game they wanted to make instead of letting greed ruin everything. Side note: I also blame Fortnite, not just for the failure of Suicide Squad, but also for the rapid decline of the gaming industry as a whole. Suicide Squad was just another casualty we ended up with since Fortnite came out.
Honestly, Fortnite was just following the trend PUBG started. Originally, Fortnite was going to be a tower defense co-op game against zombies. During the day, you gather materials and build your base and place traps to defend it, then during the night you take on a zombie horde while defending your base. But with the popularity of PUBG and the Battle Royale style it started, they completely shifted focus to Battle Royale.
@@AzureKyle I'm well aware of the original point of Fortnite. And they honestly should have stuck to that. Because Save The World was WAY better, and also didn't fucking ruin the gaming industry. Plus, they said at one point that StW was going free-to-play because Battle Royale was making plenty of money. And yet here we are, approaching October 2024, and StW is STILL 30 dollars, which just further cements how fucking greedy Epic is. I mean, they still refuse to make a sequel to Bulletstorm, one of the most underrated games ever made, yet a hell of a good game with awesome gameplay and a great story that ended on a cliffhanger, all because they only care about Fortshite.
