Another French RUclipsr Easter Egg can be found in PSVR's Astro Bot Rescue Mission. In the end credits in the Special Thanks two persons with very peculiar names can be found: David Goodenough and Jean-Michel Bruitages. These persons are not real but are in fact two recurring gag characters from one of the most famous French RUclipsrs named Joueur du Grenier. (Think of like a French version of the AVGN that knew how to evolve his formula and videos.) It can be easily missable by non-french players.
If i am not wrong, a real civil engineer also has an Easter egg in hydroneer. The bridge has a score catved into it. Also in the game evil nun, granny. Etc if you type in the name sev you get youtube easter eggs for the german youtuber sev
What was said in french in the MisterMV room was "incroyable du cul". It litteraly translates to "incredible from the ass", a less litteral translation that makes sense in english would be "incredibly my ass". This is a reference to a video of Joueur du Grenier (Gamer of the Attic, who is similar to the AVG) where he was invited to play as Snape in JDG's video about Harry Potter. When asking Harry questions that he can't answer, he tells him "Incroyable du cul", as a way of showing disdain in a humouristic way.
Also in Hydroneer, there is a easter egg beneath the players truck when they flip it. It is the name of a youtuber who used to flip his car way too much in game. The channel is called Drae.
If you're looking for another Easter egg. Osrs added a broken crossbow in Morytania to honor the youtuber Settled in his Swampletics series who made it his mission to get a Rune crossbow an item that was extremely hard to obtain under his circumstances. A little while after obtaining one he went afk to deal with something off camera and was killed in game and lost it. The Devs being a fan surprised him when he found the tribute to him. More info can be found in his video "I am now immortalized in Runescape".
I'm glad you included a clip of the creation of the Tower of Pimps in your Achievement Hunter clip, as Mojang did include a Tower of Pimps easter egg in the tutorial world in the 360 version Minecraft.
hey so cod ghost actually has a lot of Easter eggs/hidden details. like when you shoot the wolves in the one cutscene however many shots you shoot will be missing from the clip. Riley (the dog) is named as such after Riley (Ghost) from Modern warfare. in the final conflict with rorke you have a magnum and you can shoot enemies. if you only shoot once rorke then fires the others in the cutscene so that you have to have reload but if you fire all the shoots you can hear him try to do it but it just clicks. there probably many others and ghosts doesn't deserve the hate it gets I hope you can include at least one of these in a future video if you haven't already
Also in Hitman 2 the whole Outside Xbox/Xtra crew appear as NPCs but their names have been switched to Portuguese versions. Linus/Luke, Miguelito/Mike, Elena/Ellen, Andres/Andy and Juana/Jane.
One of my favorite and funny details. Has to be from simpsons hit and run. If you are a passenger to a car. Sometimes the driver would tell you to get on the other side. In principal skinner's car, his mother would sometimes insult you for trying to get into the drivers side LOL
Love the Achievement Hunter shoutout. I know at one point Mojang put the Tower of P.I.M.Ps in one of their Minecraft tutorial worlds, many many versions ago.
There was a time shortly after the Minecraft RUclipsr Technoblade passed away that the pig in the Minecraft launcher had a crown, referencing Techo's skin.
in Hydroneer there is a easter egg on the underside of the truck, referencing the youtuber Draegast/Drae who always managed to break the truck when he played.
There’s another RUclipsr that’s referenced in Hydroneer and that would be Real Civil Engineering, and it all started when he rated the bridge in the starting area a very low one There’s even a mod in the steam workshop (which as far as I remember was uploaded by the devs) that permanently adds his player made bridges into the game without the worry of killing the framerate
Did you know that in Watchdogs 1, if you go to the bar up in the top left of the map, you can find a rabbid behind the counter that you can hack to make it make a noise
my favorite achivement hunter easter egg is the "like a wet paper towel" achievement in surgeon simulator, which references how gavin free threw the heart at the wall and lost it.
one of the hitman games (i forget which one had the easter egg) has a couple of NPC's talking about a People Puddle, something that was done by Achievement Hunter/ Rooster Teeth where Gavin electrified a puddle and lured essentially the entire map's population to one spot just to kill themselves off
I'm surprised there aren't any PewDiePie easter eggs here (yet). Speaking of youtuber easter eggs there is at least one Polish youtuber in Cyberpunk 2077 (which makes sense since it is a Polish game). The said youtuber is Rojo (his channel is called ROJSON and has over 1 million subscribers, he creates content for over 13 years now). He is known for popularising video games and his motto can be translated as "games unite, not divide". Overall he is quite known in the Polish gaming industry and CD Projekt put his face on some billboards in the game. To be precise he is a bearded man who can be seen in Battle cab ads in various places in the Cyberpunk 2077 world. He has even made a video about it some time before the release of the game. Because of the language barrier I strongly doubt Captain Eggcelent will show it in his vid or even see my comment, yet this easter egg is something that came to my mind when I saw this video :D
The newest Nancy Drew game (Mystery of the Seven Keys) has a Game Grumps reference in it! There's a book on a shelf called "Shot & Missed" written by G.G. Oryoz, which calls back to a joke in their Nancy Drew: White Wolf of Icicle Creek playthrough, and the popular animation of it made by Oryozema.
I don't know if you'd call them an easter egg, but Jack Patillo and Geoff Ramsey of Achievement Hunter both have voiced cameos in Red Dead Redemption 2. Jack voices the Inn keeper in Valentine, and Geoff voices clerks at train stations (although his voice is assigned to the clerks at random, so you might not get him the first time.) They don't make any sort of references to their content creation work, and seem to only provide some minor NPC voice work which is why I'm not sure if it can be considered an easter egg.
I'm genuinely surprised Exophobia hasn't made an appearance here yet. In the ships 3rd floor alone, you can find Sonic and Knuckles, Mordecai and Rigby, and a black lab behind secret walls. There's a filter in game that straight makes it into a Wolf 3D clone... And a lot of the logs are loaded with references. Floor 2 has more than that. Floor 4 has Star Trek references, etc...
Outside Xbox are in the Hitman games a few times. There are NPCs based on them in one level, and a custom contract to kill them. I forget which level but they've done a video about it.
Achievement Hunter was also a selectable voice for your worms in Worms W.M.D.! Gavin Free from AH was also referenced in Hitman 3 after a video they made called Puddle Pile where some NPCs talk about what he did in the video
If we’re talking about RUclipsr Easter Eggs, theirs a lot of them in Fireworks Mania. The Tubes are referencing RUclipsrs, for example Captain Sensible is Canadian RUclipsr CaptainSauce, who’s played a lot of it on his channel, and Septiceye In The Sky, is a reference to Jacksepticeye, and a reference to his comment in his Fireworks Mania video
In hydroneer of you go inside the dragon skull you'll see "blits home" or something like that and there's used to be "Drae" written underneath the car both is attribute to them.
4:37 Tbf Achievement Hunter did make the Tower of Pimps and the Tower of Pimps was referenced in a Minecraft tutorial world (and some other mobile game)
A couple other (specifically) Achievement Hunter easter eggs: in an older version of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, the tutorial level has a desert temple with a hidden room in the top, and inside that room is Achievement Hunter's signature "Tower of Pimps" (The video clip used at 4:27 here even shows the first appearance of the Tower of Pimps). Another one is from a video they made in Hitman, where Gavin made a "Puddle Pile" on the Paris level by using a generator and a puddle to lure dozens upon dozens of NPCs to their death by electrocution, until the pile of bodies almost killed the entire game. So in Hitman 2, they included a conversation between two NPCs, talking about a disaster in Paris a while back where like a hundred people got electrocuted by the same puddle.
Achievement Hunter had a ton of video game EEs. Off the top of my head, the ones I remember are: Minecraft - The Tower of Pimps being in the tutorial for Minecraft. (Idk if it's still there.) Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 1 - There are flyers on random posterboards looking for "Cheevo Hunters." Hitman 2 - Random NPCs will reference a "Freak accident" involving over 70 people being killed by a puddle. Which is a reference to Gavin Free creating the "Puddle Pile." COD Ghosts - In the mission "Homecoming" there are two NPCs named "Sgt. Ramsey" and "Pvt. Gavin." While it's not 100% confirmed to be an AH reference, it's still a funny coincidence.
Some achievement hunter Easter eggs, not really one but Jack and Geoff voiced characters in red dead 2, and Gavin and Michael had the developers create a new achievement surgeon sim known as Like a wet paper towel
i remember when achievement hunter/lets play rigged a puddle in one of the hitman games to electrocute multiple people, then in either a later update or later hitman game they found some npcs or a radio broadcast in game talking about the electrocution puddle, it's been years so the details are a little foggy
Captain Eggcelent, first of all, I want to tell you that you are an amazing RUclipsr and that, in the future, if it's okay with you, I would like to talk about how some of your videos have helped me a lot during quarantine. I wanted to tell you a little curiosity about Halo 3 or the latest Halo, I don't remember now. In the campaign, in the Italian version, one of the Marines quotes a phrase from a very famous Italian comedy trio known as Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo. The phrase, in Italian, is :"Ti sfilo la colonna vertebrale e mi suono l'adagio di Albinoni" and was taken from one of their first shows. I recommend you look it up, so you understand the quote they made about Halo. Anyway, thanks again for the unintentional help you gave me with your videos and good luck with your future on RUclips. Bye.
Cyberpunk 2077 got some european influencers and youtubers hidden away. One of them is the german youtuber Pietsmiet! When looking at a commerical sign that says " Night City Centipede" , its a reference to Pietsmit with his face on that Centipede. As far as I know, some big shots also got NCPs modeled after them and give their voice in the german dubbed version to some quest characters , which I think is just really cool.
Also on that bookshelf in Doom Eternal: "Ret-Conned: The Life and Times of Flynn Taggart" is a direct reference to the 1990s series of books based on the Doom games, in which the Doomguy is given a name, Flynn Taggart. I have all four of the books, because of reasons.
SWOL has an Easter egg referencing him in the full game of Renovator Origins. There are others referenced, but I don’t know who they are. I watched his play through of the game on his channel SWOL Plays.
There’s another easter egg in Hydroneer actually! Under the bridge on some supports next to a boulder is “6.9/10 RCE” A reference to the Real Civil Engineer who does bridge reviews, and he reviewed said bridge in one of his episodes
Yeah, shame RT treated him so poorly, phased him out of content and eventually fired him sinply because he had differing political views. That was honestly the main reason I stopped watching RT, the fact that they fired a lifelong friend simply because he voted differently made me realize that was no longer the RT I fell in love with years before.
@@datmanydocris By his own admission in a twitter thread, Joel admitted that he had said something, realized he'd fucked up, left for the day and never went back to the office in person, did remote recordings until he was just quietly fired at some point before the 'rona.

I don't know that I knew he did gaming, I've only watched him for toys and being a reliable reindeer at advent.
Josh from Let's Game It Out is a menace to game devs in the best possible way. A few game devs have come forward and talked about how his save files are used for a multitude of testing purposes because he pushes the game's software to the absolute limit.
Theres YET ANOTHER RUclipsr reference in Doom Eternal. In one of the levels (I genuinely forgot which one) there is a desk in the distance which has a top hat on it which is intended to be a tribute to the youtuber TotalBiscuit!
Hitman’s Miami level also has a reference to bigmooney06, another RUclipsr famous for his hitman videos. When you kill everyone in the level, an impression of his voice will play from the loudspeaker near the entrance to the level.
Also in Payday 2, if you manage to get to the secret ending section of the white house (it takes A LOT of time) there's a plate in the first room that lists the names of RandomKenny and his team who were the first to discover the true ending of PAYDAY 2 along of the names of those who participated in discovering it
youtuber drae (formerly draeghast) also had an easter egg in hydroneer. He always found a way to flip the truck (accidentally). due to this they wrote "drae was here" on the bottom of the truck (not sure if its been removed)

In Borderlands 3 you can get a grenade mod called the burning summit. Its supposed to refer to summit. In one of his videos he threw a molotov at his own feet and that is what happens when you use the burning summit in BL3.
There's a very "deep" easter egg in assassin's creed syndicate that's only available in the italian version of the game. In a mission you have to get into a room using a password, if you don't know the password jacob will just say "Merluzzo" which is the italian word for codfish. The easter egg is that the italian VA for jacob is Maruzio Merluzzo, who's not only a VA but also a very respected youtuber in italy

In bendy and the ink machine In each chapter you can find one fan song that's instrumental starting with bendy chapter 1 song by kyle allen music in chapter 1, in chapter 2 you can find build our machine by DA games, In chapter 3 its the bendy The musical by random encounters, chapter 4 has can't be erased by JT music, and I believe lonely Angel in chapter 5 still love that from developers that they put in songs that were based on their game even if they're only instrumentals
(Think of like a French version of the AVGN that knew how to evolve his formula and videos.)
It can be easily missable by non-french players.
Sérieux 😂
On hydroner if you flip the tractor it references a lot of youtubers.
And you can also find RCE Bridge Rating in that one biblically accurate bridge
Hydro fam!
Thanks so much for the Interior Worlds mention! Surreal seeing my game pop up in another one of your easter egg videos, great stuff! Cheers ✌
Mdr je m'attendais pas à le voir dans une vidéo américaine
I'm so glad you included the Let's Game it Out easter egg! He's hilarious!
Loving these videos. Did you know, there's a NEEB'S Gaming easter egg in Conan Exiles?
Also in Hydroneer, there is a easter egg beneath the players truck when they flip it. It is the name of a youtuber who used to flip his car way too much in game. The channel is called Drae.
Captain Eggcellent, awesome content keep up the amazing work
If you're looking for another Easter egg. More info can be found in his video "I am now immortalized in Runescape".
i love that you added lets game it out in this he is one of my favorites and he destroys games hilariously
1:50 He must still be using the KIDS toothbrush. That one doesn't seem abnormally large to me.
5:25 While Matt does indeed play Doc I'm shocked you didnt go with Matt's more famous character Sarge
He was doing Doc's voice in the skit.
If you wanna know something, it’s about their play style and their ways to do their own objectives 9:38
Ahh that makes sense! Andy is pretty stealthy so that’s why he can’t be diagnosed!
@@CaptainEggcellent yes that’s correct and other ones are obvious
There’s another RUclipsr that’s referenced in Hydroneer and that would be Real Civil Engineering, and it all started when he rated the bridge in the starting area a very low one
There’s even a mod in the steam workshop (which as far as I remember was uploaded by the devs) that permanently adds his player made bridges into the game without the worry of killing the framerate
I love Marks reaction to his dads book, you can see how touched he was by it
Did you know that in Watchdogs 1, if you go to the bar up in the top left of the map, you can find a rabbid behind the counter that you can hack to make it make a noise
Yep, already covered haha
@CaptainEggcellent oh lol, I can't recall if you had but did you cover the left for dead Easter eggs in payday 2
"like a wet paper towel" achievement in surgeon simulator is a nod to micheal and gavs playpals.
I love the Friday the 13th easter egg where there’s a teddy bear next to a grave for H2O Delirious
my favorite achivement hunter easter egg is the "like a wet paper towel" achievement in surgeon simulator, which references how gavin free threw the heart at the wall and lost it.
jacksepticeye and markiplier have easter eggs in subnautica but the neebs gaming crew is one of the voice logs as well!
Confession time, I’ve only played like 10 minutes of Subnautica
@@CaptainEggcellent honestly same, it's one of those that are amazing to watch. But imo not so much to play. I'm not big into resource gathering games
Nova's tooth brush Easter egg was added in PD2 in response to him playing PDTH
one of the hitman games (i forget which one had the easter egg) has a couple of NPC's talking about a People Puddle, something that was done by Achievement Hunter/ Rooster Teeth where Gavin electrified a puddle and lured essentially the entire map's population to one spot just to kill themselves off
In The Enjenir, at Bird Nest level you can find a couple youtubers logo inside one of the nest in that level
I've noticed a couple of DarksydePhil references in games over the years. Even I've had two references in games so far :D
Ohhhh care to share?
If we’re talking about RUclipsr Easter Eggs, theirs a lot of them in Fireworks Mania. The Tubes are referencing RUclipsrs, for example Captain Sensible is Canadian RUclipsr CaptainSauce, who’s played a lot of it on his channel, and Septiceye In The Sky, is a reference to Jacksepticeye, and a reference to his comment in his Fireworks Mania video
Geoff and Jack from AH also have cameos in RDR2
Off the top of my head, the ones I remember are:
Minecraft - The Tower of Pimps being in the tutorial for Minecraft. (Idk if it's still there.)
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 1 - There are flyers on random posterboards looking for "Cheevo Hunters."
Hitman 2 - Random NPCs will reference a "Freak accident" involving over 70 people being killed by a puddle. Which is a reference to Gavin Free creating the "Puddle Pile."
COD Ghosts - In the mission "Homecoming" there are two NPCs named "Sgt.
There is, or at least used to be. Several such eastereggs on CSGO maps, that referenced incredible events during the majors.
i remember when achievement hunter/lets play rigged a puddle in one of the hitman games to electrocute multiple people, then in either a later update or later hitman game they found some npcs or a radio broadcast in game talking about the electrocution puddle, it's been years so the details are a little foggy
Under the bridge on some supports next to a boulder is “6.9/10 RCE”
A reference to the Real Civil Engineer who does bridge reviews, and he reviewed said bridge in one of his episodes
Hearing the Halo 3 easter egg reminds me of just how much I love Joel man, dude has a natural knack for comedy
It's the duck or maybe the golf ball. I seem to recall he accidently blew someone up with one once. Obviously, my favorite Easter Egg is OXbox in Hitman. I've watched all the three ways to play and elusive targets. It took a fan to find it and tell them. That's pretty cool too that Dan got a egg.
6:40 so the password is “I forgot” and then one more word? Wouldn’t it be kinda funny if it was “I forgot reach”
😂😂😂 that would have been hilarious
Love your video and keep up the great work you are awesome
I’ve always wanted RUclipsr secrets
Hitman’s Miami level also has a reference to bigmooney06, another RUclipsr famous for his hitman videos. When you kill everyone in the level, an impression of his voice will play from the loudspeaker near the entrance to the level.
Also in Payday 2, if you manage to get to the secret ending section of the white house (it takes A LOT of time) there's a plate in the first room that lists the names of RandomKenny and his team who were the first to discover the true ending of PAYDAY 2 along of the names of those who participated in discovering it
The hitman 2 reference to ox was awesome
youtuber drae (formerly draeghast) also had an easter egg in hydroneer. He always found a way to flip the truck (accidentally). due to this they wrote "drae was here" on the bottom of the truck (not sure if its been removed)
honoring his dad was a classy move i love it
2:28 i mean, what did you expect from him?
To him its just a normal day.
Uberhaxornova one brought a smile to my face. I miss The Creatures
Where’s Mark and Jack?? Thumbnail be entrapment.
0:45 mark
Are you blind
I have a silly and obsucre one for you. In Cyberpunk 2077 you can find a billboard for the "new album" - "Night City Centipede" witch shows a giant centipede with a Human Head ... well that head beeing of Peter "Piet" Smits which is one of the 5 members of the german RUclips Channel Pietsmiet ... also two other German RUclipsrs actually Voice Characters directly in the german version of Cyberpunk 2077 ... being Gronkh as "Gottfrid" and the ohter beeing Hand of Blood as his son "Fredrik"
In Borderlands 3 you can get a grenade mod called the burning summit. Its supposed to refer to summit. In one of his videos he threw a molotov at his own feet and that is what happens when you use the burning summit in BL3.
I'd say the best AH Easter Egg... the Puddle Killer
Ah, back when Achievement Hunter and RoosterTeeth weren't known to be horrible, and still existed...
8:22 that is Meat originally it was a worm puppet for a 90s-early 2000s commercial, but it became one of Vinny Vinesauce Von Pizza Pastas reoccurring characters when he showed a video of one of the set workers for the commercial messing with the puppet behind the scenes, and Vinny gave it a silly voice and his viewers loved it. Sorry to give you basically an essay of Vinesause lore for a simple easter egg, but as a fan of Vinesauce I just wanted to let you know.
No need to apologise, I appreciate the context!
@@CaptainEggcellent Thanks for understanding
in Hydroneer, on the bottom of the truck, it references Drae because he kept flipping the truck in his playthrough
MisterMV says "Incroyable du cul" which is .. hard to translate accurately... It's one of his catchphrases
2:05 Uberhaxornova mentioned, major W.
I enjoy watching all your video as soon as I hear "DID YOU KNOW" I get so happy
Glad you enjoy it!
