I bought an MS 30 several years ago on the strength of this review and another by Brett Kingman. Turned out to be the key to FINALLY being able to produce many of those "sounds I heard in my head" that had eluded me for so very long. Some of the best $$$$$ I EVER spent. Thanks so much!
I definitely heard some Jerry Cantrell riffing in there... when he was demonstrating the abbey mode I heard whale & wasp... beautiful song and definitely got that jar of flies twin reverb double tracked clean vibe from this pedal. I'll definently be picking it up.
Pete: Again, thanks for posting this video. I have been using my Keeley 30ms Double Tracker for a few weeks now and it is quite awesome. Your video convinced me I should get one, and I am really glad I did. I have 12 guitar effects pedals, and this is my favorite. Cheers, and please keep posting.
Dang Pete...I really love the intro music you always do. They are all so different, but there is always a great melody peeking in there too. Great job on the vid!
Got the Neunaber Chroma Chorus for more of the doubling effect without the obvious rate/depth modulation going. This seems like it does that and a little more. Might have to check it out.
Love your videos, playing, and taste. I’ve been a touring pro for over 25 years, and am always in search of new tones and textures to take on the road. I value your demos and uses of these effects. Keep it up!!
Really awesome, the first seconds have been the best demoing of that pedal i heard. And it was no big suprise every sound you created was great. The demos i have seen before where rather disapointing. Sir, u really know how to create a good guitar sound! :) Thanx!
I just bought two of them, without playing them, one for my small and big board. I keep my big board capable of running in stereo, so this should get interesting. :-)
Love your demos, love your playing and arrangements. Always look forward to what you are going to do/review next! This looks to be a great pedal and one I may add to my board soon.
Normally I try to put modulation pedals in front of my distortion because I'm old-school, but this pedal I'm think I want at the very end of my chain, possibly after my delay. I've thought about it replacing my chorus, which is in front of the distortion for old-school Trower/Hendrix sounds, but... nah, it's going to be placed farther down the chain.
For some reason, with that main melody line in that demo tune at 0:42 I get the sickest deja vu feeling - especially with the first phrases on the Tele. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?- What it kinda feels like? It's so unlike anything I've ever really heard but yet so familiar. Feels reaaaally strange.
Pete has a strong command of classic rock. It may see crazy but if it were up to me, I'd rather see Pete in GnR than Ron Thal, Buckethead, or those types. Just more integrity as a musician.
Awesome demo! Having been impressed with my first Keeley pedal (Aurora reverb) and really intrigued by many of their new offerings, I suspect I'll be buying more of their pedals, and this one is at the top of the list. Awesome opening song, too! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I really hope you'll be doing a second album some time soon!
Such a great demo! Love the sounds coming out of this pedal and your studio! Great chops! I'm getting one as soon as you tell me which online merchant you are affiliated with!
Such a great player, after hearing him play I almost always want to pick up my guitar and figure out whatever cool stuff he just played. nice pedal review too. Thank you.
great demo helped me a lot..i have one but the i sue it in the pro mode ..but the differences between the abbey mode and slapback in pro mode i had not see the difference..
Great demo as always! I find the lack of stereo ouputs to be a major drawback in this pedal, especially for recording. The TC Electronic Mimiq double has stereo ins and outs, which is great for getting a huge stereo field when recording.
Always great gear reviews. I like this, but think I will go with the micro pitch by Eventide instead for my Steve Vai crossroads lead attempts playing. 😂🤘♥️ Thanks Pete for doing these reviews and helping me learn sir.. Tim..
Peter, do you feel you could achieve George Harrison's slide tone i.e. from My Sweet Lord using the 30 ms? I'm sort of hearing that effect in some of your demos. Thanks,
Love what you do. I was wondering your personal thought on this Keeley double tracker 30 ms vs TC Electronic mimiq doubler ? On the chance you have played on this pedal. The music in this video is very inspiring. Thanks for your time.
whoa this is kinda what i'm looking for. I like chorus but only a subtle effect cuase its so strong. this is a mod sound i like but not too in your face
Another killer track and demo. I have a question for you about the guitars. Do you find it difficult jumping between the Tele radius to the Gibson radius? I'm asking because I have a Les Paul and I'm thinking about getting a Tele. You're the man Pete.
Had no idea that when you click on an itunes link, it doesn't take you to that song. Still have to search for it. What's that about? Anyway, I bought Homage, that's a wonderful song. Do you have the song you did on the beginning of this video for sale? If so, what's the name? I'd like to buy it.
Great stuff as usual. Always fun demos. Question - can i get two user adjustable detuned voices simultaneously in mono? For example I can specifically dial in two voices - one 10 cents flat and one 10 cents sharp. I'm looking to get close to VH's Eventide Diver Down and 1984 settings.
+Pete Thorn Awesome...all I needed...thanks Pete! You helped sell me on the original Plexitone, Scumbacks and the original Carbon Copy. Looks like I'm sold on this too! I hope you get kickbacks for such great work. 😀 P.S. Please add some VH style licks into demos. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this!
Just pulled the trigger on this one,..had too the dude is tired of all the extra work in order to get results .. Fuck it..I'm taking the easy way our . amazing times we're living in that's for shore
Somebody please tell me WHY anybody needs yet ANOTHER modulation/delay/reverb pedal, when it's likely we've already got several. The best "fattening up/double track" pedal that I've recently seen and heard is the TC MIMIQ. PURE multi-track-doubling genius...
...I do prefer to hear,as the audience, the delay on the right side...but if I’m the one playing live i have to hear delay on the left so the audience can hear the delay on the right...a conundrum......🤔 ...f##k I’m bored...✌🏻😎🎸
So this seems to be Keeley's answer to the Strymon Deco (a bit of a different feature set, however) - I like it!. I don't know if it's something I couldn't get from a pedal I already have though... In any case, goddamn, Pete - you play some cool and refreshingly original songs in your demos. I'd listen to you demo anything.
I don't know why everyone else hasn't given up on doing gear demos.
LOL, now that's a great comment!
I definitely heard some Jerry Cantrell riffing in there... when he was demonstrating the abbey mode I heard whale & wasp... beautiful song and definitely got that jar of flies twin reverb double tracked clean vibe from this pedal. I'll definently be picking it up.

OK, you got me on this one. I play in stereo and love the sounds you're getting. Great job as usual. Thanks.
Great creative job PETE ! Love it
why pete always makes a demo so great ?? give your 10%
Superb sounding tracks once again!
Dang Pete...I really love the intro music you always do. They are all so different, but there is always a great melody peeking in there too. Great job on the vid!
The more musical demos of the galaxy, congrats Pete!
Always look forward to what guitars you choose to use in your demo songs. One gets so much from these shorttracks you write.
your studio is what my dreams look like.
Great demo Pete ! Thanks
I love that music you made in the intro! Tasty
Just awesome Pete! Thanks for sharing!
WOW!! That was great. Love this tune. Well Pete once again you blow me away. Thanks for the inspiration.
Tight composition! Really loved that!!
Got the Neunaber Chroma Chorus for more of the doubling effect without the obvious rate/depth modulation going. This seems like it does that and a little more. Might have to check it out.

Fresh strings and perfect intonation make for a great demo. Well done~!
Man, I'm glad I did that with headphones. This was great!
Fantastic demo friend!!!! Love your playing too!!!! Thanks for posting!!!!!
The 30 MS Double Tracker is very interesting. It seems like it's best fit is as a creative recording tool to get classic guitar sounds quickly.
Really awesome, the first seconds have been the best demoing of that pedal i heard. And it was no big suprise every sound you created was great. The demos i have seen before where rather disapointing. Sir, u really know how to create a good guitar sound! :) Thanx!
Thanks!!!
Pete: Thanks for doing this demo. I just bought one of these and can hardly wait to see what it can do. Cheers! P.S. I am subscribing to your channel.
I just bought two of them, without playing them, one for my small and big board. I keep my big board capable of running in stereo, so this should get interesting. :-)
wow i loved that demo track, I would use it if I had come up with it - just great - thanks Pete
Great intro, I’ll probably play it again.
Love your demos, love your playing and arrangements. Always look forward to what you are going to do/review next! This looks to be a great pedal and one I may add to my board soon.
Great job Pete - your demos are always great!
NIIIICE, saw one of these used at guitar center wish i would have grabbed it now
Nice tune! Gotta pick me up one of those.
That demo track was smokin!
Fantastic demo! I was wondering how it would sound with some dirt. All of the other demos that I saw were clean. This sounds great
+sgmarshall3 My question as well, will this pedal play nicely with some classic to hard rock tones? Another great video Pete, thanks!!
Normally I try to put modulation pedals in front of my distortion because I'm old-school, but this pedal I'm think I want at the very end of my chain, possibly after my delay. He would do a great job! And he'd get the tones just right ;)
+Josh Brown thanks Josh! Those guys are great players, my fav is actually Richard Fortus, he's really cool.
+Pete Thorn Great tones man. That 335 is just....delicious...lol!
I love your musical mind Pete Thorn..... nice pedal too! :)
Cool Sounds
Awesome demo! This is just a great sounding pedal..
That is a great effect great snds,
This is killing me! What song does 3:46 onwards remind me of?? I think the track I'm thinking of is in a higher key.
Really liking the track @ 3:45
Such a great player, after hearing him play I almost always want to pick up my guitar and figure out whatever cool stuff he just played. nice pedal review too. Thank you.
Awesome intro tune!
Anybody else find themselves addicted to the intro tune also?? WOW...like a drug. Great job Pete!
That SlapBack mode sounds great
cool hair and a great guitarist! Livin Tha Dream Pete.
😂
Good job, man! That thing sounds sweet, but your playing really showcases the pedal!
That Gibson hollowbody sound is what my dreams are made of.
G a w d a m m that's a great clean tone.
great demo helped me a lot..i have one but the i sue it in the pro mode ..but the differences between the abbey mode and slapback in pro mode i had not see the difference..

A bit puzzled by this myself, although it does accept trs stereo on the output but only seems to do a wet/dry configuration.
two years since this posted and I *still* don't have this pedal >gaa!
And where was this pedal when I was a teen?
Always great gear reviews. I like this, but think I will go with the micro pitch by Eventide instead for my Steve Vai crossroads lead attempts playing. 😂🤘♥️
Thanks Pete for doing these reviews and helping me learn sir..
Tim..
Peter, do you feel you could achieve George Harrison's slide tone i.e. from My Sweet Lord using the 30 ms? I'm sort of hearing that effect in some of your demos. Thanks,
dreat drop! I was expecting a blistering passage at any moment.oB
+Pete Thorn, I'd be really interested in seeing how you track drums for these demos. Are you using something like Native Instruments?
Love me some lush, thick modularion!
Great demo Pete, love your demo song. Is the demo song available as a download? iTunes store?
Yeah - 5 years later... where can I find this song? It's great and none of the links point to it. I need it.
Reminds me a bit of the Strymon Deco. Similar concept?
Love what you do. I was wondering your personal thought on this Keeley double tracker 30 ms vs TC Electronic mimiq doubler ? On the chance you have played on this pedal. The music in this video is very inspiring. Thanks for your time.
That is a cool effect, no need to mention your playing , but TOP NOTCH !!!
Did your hands get bigger or is that a small-ish pedal? Great playing as alllllways!
Pete, have you tried this with heavier sounds. Just wondering if this would work for classic rock tones.
This is what I use my Arion delay for
whoa this is kinda what i'm looking for. I like chorus but only a subtle effect cuase its so strong. this is a mod sound i like but not too in your face
Great!!!!!
Another killer track and demo. I have a question for you about the guitars. Do you find it difficult jumping between the Tele radius to the Gibson radius? I'm asking because I have a Les Paul and I'm thinking about getting a Tele. You're the man Pete.
Hi Pete, it's not stereo out though?
Had no idea that when you click on an itunes link, it doesn't take you to that song. Still have to search for it. What's that about? Anyway, I bought Homage, that's a wonderful song.
Do you have the song you did on the beginning of this video for sale? If so, what's the name? I'd like to buy it.
I can hear a hit song on this track Pete, can I not write some lyrics to it? 😂
Is that Trent Reznor?
I hate you Pete Thorn. Your videos and sounds are so good I end up wanting to buy every pedal you demo.
+Sean Driscoll :) Love you!
In a live situation, how would you run the Pro mode... TRS Stereo into a split cable with two amps? Or does it have stereo output/mono?
sweet.
Hi Pete I'm curious about the drums are they a real kit or software?
How do you run it in stereo? A splitter box? A TRS cable? Please tell us how you split the signal to stereo
with a trs to 2x ts
PT is a freak. Writes awesome music for every review.
+jerseysbigal yes!
+Pete Thorn Awesome...all I needed...thanks Pete!
You helped sell me on the original Plexitone, Scumbacks and the original Carbon Copy. Looks like I'm sold on this too! I hope you get kickbacks for such great work. 😀
P.S. Please add some VH style licks into demos. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this!
this or strymon deco??
is this in front of the amp or in the loop?
Just pulled the trigger on this one,..had too the dude is tired of all the extra work in order to get results .. Fuck it..I'm taking the easy way our . amazing times we're living in that's for shore
you just sold another one of these.
I liked it better when it was called a Chorus pedal
No kidding. That's all I heard throughout.
Somebody please tell me WHY anybody needs yet ANOTHER modulation/delay/reverb pedal, when it's likely we've already got several. The best "fattening up/double track" pedal that I've recently seen and heard is the TC MIMIQ. PURE multi-track-doubling genius...
Very STPish

Aren't you the clever one, Jeff. I bet you're one of those Dunning-Kruger morons that proudly proclaims that they're an "asshole".
So this seems to be Keeley's answer to the Strymon Deco (a bit of a different feature set, however) - I like it!. I don't know if it's something I couldn't get from a pedal I already have though...
