When u mean intermittent u mean crank crank crank then start ? Kuz I have a 2004 Honda accord ex 2.4 as well I have changed out the crank sensor thinking it was that Becuase the car still starts and drives fine , doesn’t even die while I’m in traffic at all

It is an easy replacement I agree. However I do recommend resetting the timing. The computer needs to “relearn” the new crank shaft position sensor or else it messes with the timing and problems ensue. Happened to me about 3 weeks after I replaced the sensor where my vehicle wouldn’t accelerate above 25 mph because the computer thinks a cylinder misfire is going to cause further issues so it won’t let you accelerate more than the other 3 cylinders can handle on their own. I did this for my 2.4L 4 cylinder Honda Accord 2008 LE.

@@thoward1031 I’m not sure how to update the computer software. I’m sorry. I had to take it to a mechanic because I didn’t have the device that resets it.

It's the re-learning scanner that costs $$$ and it's a must do to relearn the crankshaft sensor

Mine is similar. got p0341 code on my 02 crv. I read a few threads suggesting it could be more than just the "camshaft sensor" code I've been getting via odb2.
Some were saying an over-stretched timing chain. But I dont understand why that would cause start up issues. My car needs immediate gas application after ignition for at least 5 seconds to keep going as "normal". But Still sluggish going up hills.

I think oil has gotten on my wiring harness or the connector.. do I jus need to clean it well or do I have to get a whole new wiring harness ?

@@frontyardmechanicdiyall4268 no no codes at all, no lights on dash, same process for over 2 years, turn on car and dont turn off till get home, usually wait time is about 1+ hour for car to turn on again. Went to mechanic shop at beginning of problem but nothing was found
