Interesting video!
Glad you think so!
Thanks for this video! Still having trouble with people within the organization seeing events and event details even when setting them up to see all details and manage sharing.
I’m still having the same issue and I’ve changed the settings already
Hi. Is it possible to send all calender names in one go? E.g Meetings, events, holidays, birthdays so they can all be viewed together.
Great video! How can I make my appointments Zoom sessions? Or would you recommend I email the zoom links once someone books an event?
I'd recommend that you install the Zoom Browser extension. This will allow you to add your Zoom meetings directly to any Google Calendar event: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zoom-scheduler/kgjfgplpablkjnlkjmjdecgdpfankdle?hl=en
Is there a way to share multiple events for example only stuff from one month?
Which link do we share if we only want to share it with our kid’s sports team, and not the world, where they can subscribe to the calendar so the events show up on their own calendar?
Great video! The person that I am sharing my calendar with can see all of my edits and changes - but when they add something to the calendar, I cannot see them. Their permission is set to "Make Changes and manage sharing". They are using an iPhone with the Google Calendar app. Any ideas?
same thing happened with me, am wondering how to fix this issue. There is a lot of good info in the video and just a suggestion to the man who made this video to include information on how to refresh the calendar to include edits that other users have made. :)
Thank you. In the public share method, I was wondering why a login was still needed. Figure it was just the wrong link 🤦♂
Great tutorial. My client shared access to her work calendar with me. As I am in a different time zone, the actual meeting time converts with my local time. So I see a different meeting time. I want to see the same meeting time as her. Is there a way I can do that?
go to settings - general - world clock- click show world clock-and add time zone
How can I share a calendar so the person can add this calendar to their calendar. So like when you saw your labels on the left....... I want them to have the calendar in their list of calendars. Does this make sense?
is someone who is administrator on your calendar available to create new events?
I’m trying to set up a a calander for my employees to see where they are going and what they have to do.
I’ve created a calendar and also then made calendars for each member of staff. When i go to share the calendar to each person i have added their email addresses but they aren’t receiving a notification / invite. Also when i add someone with an iCloud address it keeps on defaulting to a gmail address that doesn’t exist. Can anyone help please.
Is it possible to share aesthetic changes within my google calendar with others?

Question: how can I share my calendar with someone whom I don’t have their email address, just a cellphone number
I created a new google calendar in My calendar. I selected "share with specific people", and sent to them, however they never received calendars/notifications. Do they need to have a Google account?
Can they see our calendar as well when accepting admin invitations?
Would like to know how to show arbitrary display names when entering an email address for specific sharing ? The format for Google Groups doesn't work for Google Calendar.
Can you only share with an organization through Google Workspace? Is there a free way to do this?
Recipients of shared calendar are not getting notifications on the day of the event.
I work for a church. I want ppl who attend our church to view the google calendar (on our web site) to see different events scheduled. I only want me and 1 other person to be able to make changes (adding events and deleting events) to the google calendar. How do I do this.?
Sure thing. Here are the steps to achieve this:
1. Set Permissions for Editing:
Open Google Calendar.
On the left-hand side, find the calendar you created under "My calendars."
Hover over the calendar name, click the three vertical dots, and select "Settings and sharing."
In the "Share with specific people" section, click "Add people."
Enter the email address of the person who you want to have editing rights.
In the permissions dropdown, select "Make changes and manage sharing."
Click "Send."
2. Share the Calendar for Viewing:
In the same "Settings and sharing" page, scroll down to the "Access permissions for events" section.
Check the box next to "Make available to public."
Select "See all event details" in the dropdown menu.
Copy the "Public URL to this calendar" or "Embed code" (if you want to embed the calendar directly into your website).
I'm trying to share my calendar with the public but it has "see all event details" grey'd out and not an option for sharing. It can only do busy/free option. Is there something I'm missing?
i did make some colour in my calendar, but when i share to friend they can't see colour , they only see original colour ?
I have a team of over 500 people. Is there a way to create a link (not public) to view the Group google calendar or do I have to input individual email addresses for everyone to see it?
Hey there. I would copy the url and send it to the email list, so the 500 people would be the only recipients. But, the url may still be searchable?
how to add reminder in google calendar?
how we could make the share links customized with our name? and how we could let others to set a meeting with us on a shared link?
It looks like you need the new appointment schedule feature for Google Calendar. Here's how to use it: www.simpletivity.com/blog/how-to-use-appointment-schedule-in-google-calendar-tutorial
how do I share the calendar with others who are not Gmail users? I don't want the calendar to be public because we are sharing availability with each other.
Great video, but my problem is my wifes calendar shows all the day to day events on my calendar, but when i share my calendar with her my calendar is just completely blank. any advice would be appreciated thank you
Watch out for tomorrow's video for more tips on how to share!
Once I click on ‘see all events’ and send it jumps to ‘see only free/busy (hide details) and the other options are greyed out.
I'm attempting to share my calendar to the entire public, and have clicked "Make available to public," but the calendar on displays the following error to the public "403. That's an error. We're sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That's all we know."
What a I doing wrong? Thanks
It doesn't work for me :( I can't only show BUSY. Besides, when someone opens the link I send, the link opens their calendar, not mine.
My google calendar does not look like that and NO I am not on a phone. Im confused what to do.
Cannot find share.
I cannot see the send option on the calendar
Doesn't work. My wife and I have each tried to share a calendar with the other, but no link emails have materialized. What are we missing?
How can I share one event with many people without them seeing each other's email address?
I added the email but they can’t see the calendar in the app
I tried this but the link only shows a blank calendar.
Can we share on whatsapp?
Why cant I do this on the app?
It doesn’t give me the option to share the calendar?
I tried to do this and it only let them see one event
Hi I cannot figure it out - I need to add a new member to a shared calendar but I cannot figure it out. the invites are not coming in? could you please help
Here are some troubleshooting tips to consider:
Spam/Junk Folder: Ask the recipient to carefully check their spam or junk mail folders.
Incorrect Email Address: Double-check with the user that the email address they entered is absolutely correct. Typos matter!
Pending Invitation: Did the person you're inviting have a previous Google Account that's no longer active? They may need to accept the invite on that older account for it to work with their current one.
Sharing Permissions: Go back to the calendar's "Settings and sharing". Under "Access permissions", make sure at least the option "Make available to [your organization]" is checked. If it's more restricted, people outside your organization won't be able to access the calendar.
As per usual I start with the steps shown but then further down in the steps what is said to do just isn't there. So frustrating.
You spoke so fast ..I want to share my entire calendar with one individual. Please help
Watch the first 4 min
You can slow the speed down in the settings for each individual video.

lul
bro need 10 minutres to explain how to share a calender
useless for me
Why do you need a 9-min video for something that can be explained in 30 secs??? Beating around the bush has become a norm of sorts on RUclips. Guess it's a requirement of monetization.
This was absolutely perfect outside of the couple glitches I had to run through just to get my default calendar on my default account to show up on my Google home nest to device.
RUclips band my default account
Except for nest hub you have to have your secondary account primary and your primary account secondary if you want to have RUclips videos show up because your primary account won't have RUclips (no you cannot have your primary account first it will be treated as a band account if you ask for a RUclips video)
01 follow exactly as he says above allow changes
02 make sure Google hub has primary account as default for calenda
03 try to train voice train secondary account to be the same voice as primary account this is difficult
04 Double up share settings just in case secondary account share with primary account as well as primary account share with secondary account
05 make sure primary account only sees itself primary cell phone tablet PC
06 remove access from secondary account calendar on Google display (best forces it to use your primary accounts calendar)
07 lol test test test rip your hair out test test
08 share your house from your primary account to your secondary account and vice versa...
09 secondary account house item is your display unit only permanent one on that secondary house account everything else can be on your primary account as long as it doesn't use RUclips no displays
(As for RUclips the app there are third parties for both cell phone tablet and TV but if you don't do third party I do believe you just have to set up the RUclips app as your secondary account and delete access to your primary account for RUclips only)
Yes this does work
When you ask your Google display to show you your calendar events it will show you your secondary account events when you make a calendar event on your display it will save to your primary account and your secondary account but will only display the one
Thank you very much Google we appreciate your censorship it makes life extraordinarily fun especially when you haven't done anything wrong but just copy and paste or be in the wrong category that some company madeup
To everyone left right and center I highly recommend making three accounts
0A RUclips subscriptions
0B possible RUclips comments
0C definitely RUclips uploads
This is all outside of your primary account
TDLR: this worked perfectly to synchronize my two accounts see TDLR: BELOW .... (THANK YOU RUclips YOU MAKE LIFE ENJOYABLE)
