I enjoy watching hair videos sometimes just for the sheer entertainment value. I watch them from people in our community as well as other communities. Many things are different but much is also the same. I've learned that hair care focus is just something that ladies have regardless of ethnicity or hair type. There are as many videos of curly, wavey, and straight hair issues as there are of coily, and kinky. The bottom line is all ladies seem to want an easier, different, or sometimes even more difficult way of caring for hair. The most interesting hair video that I watched today was a black lady getting her hair done in a Korean Salon.

I watch a gazillion Utube videos from many content creators to support their business!! Most info I already know, I don’t care! I ❤ seeing how we women of color treat our hair. Many do not have my hair type or texture. Several do. I do not limit myself to those whose hair looks like mine. I get great recommendations from all!! I take all that I’ve learned and create what works for me. Much trial and error but all good! ❤

I stopped buying cos I lost my job. Surprise, surprise, I never needed it in the 1st plac e. My hair is back to how it was as a baby on a minimal budget.

I must also admit that I've hit a wall with conflicting info regarding hair preference. Does hair like water or does it prefer oil? Thankfully I'm in mini twists/braids atm so... 😅

@@CoilyDiaries thanks so much for the response! How often would you recommend washing v. oiling? I tend to have a pretty dry scalp and find relief when I wash my hair. My scalp DOES NOT like being oiled.

Watching YT natural hair videos for information purposes is beneficial,yet the content can be marred by the profane speech spewed by content creators on various platforms 😞. It takes away from the message being presented 😕 (Eph 4:29,31)
There are billions of people worldwide and the beauty of it is we are all uniquely and "wonderfully made" and also have similarities.(Rev 4:11;Ps 139:14; Gen 3:20)
The body takes what it needs for nourishment and pass out what it doesn't. The same can go with social media content. Not everyone has the same tastes and interests and the various content found on social media attracts consumers to what interest them. Natural hair content notwithstanding. So when it's all said and done hair will do what it do in it's imperfect state, as we see more evident as we get older. What is more important is to do what we individually need to do to take care of the hair and scalp we were blessed with and love them the best we possibly can til "all things new" are made in the promised new earthly society under the heavenly government and righteous mankind will enjoy perfection forever including their hair (Ps 37:10,11,29; Matt 22:39; Rev 21:3-6).
