Thank you for your feedback, Barley is not a triggering for diabetes, but it can increase your blood sugar if eaten in a large quantity. The best way to it barely for good blood pressure control is eat them as whole grain( make the flour without removing the coat) and also in moderation. It is not only what we eat affect our blood glucose, it is much and with what type of food we are eating it with. Me personally, when I eat even small amount of bread with barely increase my blood sugar very quick. I hope I answered your question.

Eat more carbohydrate like injera, bread and sweet potato. but it will be better if you stop insulin and try fast and reduce your carbohydrate intake, for sure you will see good result.
