They have to bloom and for that, I try my best to care for them so that, I can enjoy the blooms at the right time. [Though, I couldn't much do last year and I really feel bad for my plants]

      Thank you So much for your kind words, really appreciated! Glad to know your plants are blooming well. Unfortunately, that's a common problem and happens with me too. It happens because the soil is not acidic enough. We get blue flowers on Acidic soil and Pink in Alkaline soil. My soil is sandy type..n it's too hard to make them acidic. Still, I am working on it and hope to get a giant Blue Color Hydrangea :-) To make acidic, we can use Vinegar, Aluminium Sulphate, Alum etc..

    The plant is very much in my wish list as any garden lover covets.
    But in view of the fact that every year I lose 75% of soft plants due to White Ant Fly attack amd this time too, I am unable add such lovely beautiful plants. The more I kill this pest, the double in number they emerge. I use pesticide like Rogor or Nuvan with soap/shampoo solution so that on application, they get stuck on the leaf surface. Most of them die but somehow some of them manage to escape and fly high and come back again on the leaf undersurface.
    Haven't tried Imidacloprid yet like confidor or imidacloprid containing miticide Oberon.
    I am highly disappointed and disheartened with this chronic problem since the last 4-5 years. For the same reason I fail maintaining a well flourishing hibiscuses.
    Please address the problem and advice.
    Thanks for sharing such an informative presentation on a masterpiece of beauty with a totally new concept of soyabean.

    • @Talushallux1
      @Talushallux1 Год назад

      Ms Anuradha, hydrangeas are known to change colour or keep a particular colour depending on the PH of the soil!
      If you want blue hydrangea blooms, you need to acifify the soil. And the best way to acidify is by adding aluminum sulphate to soil (alum). Alternatively to obtain pink flowers, you need to add lime or dolomite to the soil. But it'll take time to alter the soil ph. Hope this helps! Good luck with your hydrangeas.

So, other testings are going on and I would only recommend only if I get good results [I would upload more videos soon]. On Hydrangea, it worked really well and difference is visible if we compare the results of 2021 and 2022.

      @Vishal Marimuthu, Good to know you love Hibiscus a lot, me too. See, there are many varieties and few hybrid varieties doesn't bloom all the time. Mostly, because of high temp issue. Many are not native to our place and they bloom when temp is somewhat low. One similar example - The multi petaled Hibiscus doesn't bloom well when temp is too high (July-August in my place). But, they start to bloom again when temp come down a bit. As your some plants are already blooming, I don't think you are doing anything wrong. But still, I would try to give some more inputs in my coming video. There are also few imp things that we need to do at right time. For example, pruning, fertilizing etc. Sure, I would give the updates of my plants.
      Black spot - fungal disease and please use fungicide. SAAF can be used and dose is 2 grams in 1 liter water. Good luck :-)

      @Chinmoy Buragohain and @Rubul das, You got the best answer from @Sarvesh Kumar Verma. And, @Sarvesh Kumar Verma, thank you very much :-) I am already working on it and hopefully, this year I would be able to change the color. It has been raining heavily in my place, almost everyday! Waiting for the Sun eagerly so that I can work fast.

      @@GardeningUpbeat Good to hear that, sir! Here in the Delhi NCR region, there's been no rain since long and the heat is so intense! Waiting for the monsoon eagerly to get a happy look of the plants 😅 Would be waiting to see the results of your hardwork on ur hydrangea plants, and like every plant u work on, we're sure that we'll get to see the most beautiful blooms on your hydrangeas again :)
