im 18 years old. and i grew up listening to DM. I am on of the biggest DM fans but unfortunately have never had the blessing of listening to them live in person yet.... next time they tour in america im following them all across the country
anyone who thinks the song sounds flat, trust me the video is lying to you. in person, i had goosebumps the entire time. especially when Dave held the mic out to the crowd and 15,000 of us sung with Martin on back-up vocals.
Now I am really looking forward to hearing this live. At least with DM, I can always count on their live performances to be better than the album sounds. I like seeing Martin Gore behind a keyboard. I wish he would spend more time there. lol
I think it woud sound better if only Martin sang the chorus, and Dave the verses. One of my favorite Depeche Mode songs ever, I still don't get why some fans don't like it.
