there is actually quite a few Stephen J. Cannell's idents over time. I saw them somewhere on RUclips.

Season 5 theme is growing on me .... but still doesn't hold a candle to the original.
It's not that I don't like the Season 5 theme, but I'm so used to the original one that it just sounds weird.
The drumbeat at the beginning sounds like The Equalizer.
I haven't saw this version of season 5, the one I was familiar with shows Hanibal, Face, Murdoch, Frankie, B.A, Stockwell in the credits.

It was a 2 parter so ended it with the extended theme which was awesome.

I love Hannibal, B.A., Face and Murdock, but I hate Frankie Santana (Im italian and Frankie Santana rhymes with "son of a b....", or means a traitor) and general Stockwell (the chief of the A-team' s chief - and the team - can not exist)!
