Cred 339-340: Riding Minifigure Speedway Rollercoasters at Legoland Windsor, England. June 2024

Visiting Legoland and testing out the new racing Minifigure Speedway Rollercoasters. These Zierer custom shuttle rides opened a few months ago in April 2024 and are looking to be a big hit with the families that attend. It has been a long while since Legoland has built something like this, so it is much needed.
There are 2 separate (near mirror image) tracks, so this ride counts as 2 creds. You chose to ride either Legends (Blue Track) or Allstars (Red Track). Both start by being lifted backwards up the incline, then are dropped forwards around the track reaching a speed of 34.8 mph. You are then lifted up a second incline and sent to travel the same route backwards.
The ride is very colourful, smooth and enjoyable, with just enough thrills for brave children. We completed both sides with our ‘not so young’ children on a sunny day whilst celebrating a special birthday on 26/06/24.
