You're ghillies look outstanding, one thing missing is the canvas on the front and knees. Without the canvas, the ghillies and your flesh will quickly be shredded crossing rocky ground or dealing with thorns. Also, a good rule is to plan a route using defilade (depressions in the ground) and concealment (foliage or other things blocking the enemies view of you), by using that as much as possible you are able to make good time using a crouch or high crawl (hands and knees) most if not all of the way. Traveling a few hundred meters in the low crawl or sniper low crawl will make you hate life. I always employ one step above what I think is needed, so if I'm fairly certain I can get away with crouching, I use a high crawl. If I think I will be OK with a high crawl, I low crawl. That way I have a measure of insurance. Lastly, when stalking an enemy position, it's much better to have a fix on that position through the use of either a compass and terrain association or a GPS. That way you can move in on it without raising up to see re-fix (re-locate) the position, called "Turkey Necking" (which is what most Snipers are tagged out for during stalk phase of the school). Just my 2 cents, hope it helps. Staff Sergeant, US. Army, Combat Infantry Sniper, multiple tours
Hello sir, I have seen you comment on a lot of these kind of videos. But I have a question for you as you seem to know a lot about this kind of stuff. I'm always concerned about my boots being kinda visible. As their is no 'real' camo there or something to break up the silhouette. Do you know a way to make the boots less visible or at least something to break up the silhouette? Thank you very much, and thanks for your service!
ppl on the comments don't know what their talking about THIS IS A DEMONSTRATION of stalking techniques. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE TO SLOW THE MOVENT DOWN TO NOT BE AS OBSERAVLE probably a 2 to 3 inch movement every 2 to 5 seconds remember they are teaching you what the movements are supposed to look like so they HAVE TO SPEED IT UP if not the video would take A FUCKING DAY TO WACTH. great video guys your ghillies look great i would add grey twine because it does work out a bit but only a little here and their. :)
Thanks ;) The techniques are very diverse, They can be done in many way's and everyone calls them diffrent. I'm glad you liked the video ;) Good luck during your training and serving your country.
No, there is not. The only way is to either bring cutters and snip of every single twig that's in your way. (not recommanded this leaves a trail) BEST advice: Plan your stalk, Take a look at the surroundings that's the best way to plan your route without running into any anoying shrubs. And sometimes if you do you just have to go through. Stalking is suposed to be done very slowly so it doesn't really matter if the bushes slow you down ;)
after you added the jute to the ghillie you should 'break up' the ghillie this makes it appear more natural. This 'breaking up' is done by soaking the ghillie in water and then crawling through the mud. If you want a dark effect crawl through dark mud, If you want a light effect crawl through light sand. Repeat this 'soaking and crawling' about 3 times. Hope I have informed you enough with this.
real snipers move a lot slower than that because slower motion catches less attention than fast motion. These guys looked sloppy lol but I think the reason why they were doing it that fast is cus they were just showing the viewers how it's done.
In the first photo the guy to the left was in the wrong. Hiding on the side of the tree is called "Tree Cancer" it makes you look very unnatural, but I will admit, with that gillie suite It still made me question my self.
What sort of dye are you using to make your color? It seems darker than just the undyed version. Mine is undyed burlap, and even after washing it seems too bright for general woodland purpose.
@alymuni You mean the copyright system? It works ;) RUclips still reconised the soundtrack but isn't displaying it in the discription, If you want to know what the name of the track is just let me know ;)
The idea behind stalking techniques is not to reduce total visibility, but rather to minimize your moving sound signature, especially in deciduous environments. You focus far too much on minimizing visibility, which is an intuitive skill for most marksmen. If you're well trained in how to camouflage yourself, a sentry should be able to walk almost on top of you without noticing your position, but being able to silently close in on said sentry is a true skill.
My dad was apart of MAC V SOG in nam...was laying on a trail when 25 NVA soliders come up on him ... He laid sideways and said he was as stiff as a log , the first man stepped over him then the next , then the next ... He swore they must of thought he was a log but all it would of took was one out of 25 guys stepping on him and it would have been over ... RIP Dad 1953-2017
He, de eerst volgende meeting is hoogst waarschijnlijk Begin Juni 2013. Wie weet komt er nog wel 1 tussen nu en dan. Maar dat moet nog even bekeken worden. Die in Juni komt er in elk geval ;)
Maybe a example of the 10kg drag bag guys? Only one of the prone techniques you displayed works comfortably with a rifle. The drag bag is a drag but its for the win with a rifle. Great video.
video intro - the second man was compromised and would have been dead under my scope. You on the other hand did an great job as I did not see your position by just scanning but the other was very obvious
@amimefan333 Try to acces your area before you enter it, Look were the path of the least resistance is so you won't encounter so much vegetation while crawling. And for the trail, There isn't much you can do about it I guess, try to move through ditches so your trail isn't so obvious for other people that pass by. Hope I helped you out :)
you use the back of your hands. because if you get cut instict is to grab whatever is in front. but sniper crawl is also used for checking for mines and trip wires
Stability camo was brilliant but the movement tact has a vital spot, drag marks will be left behind and will get you killed. hostiles can easily track through broken grass and bent bushes
spotted your guest! in the first couple of seconds lol, and in the cli[ after that I spooted someone and after that, none the less that's just because of how close the camera was, also youtube is somehow recommending me these videos after watching a lot of Skyrim D: there's youtube for ya
Mooie video!
- Lt,Curiel (Roosendaal)

You can use a burlap bag for each boot or use old leggings and make a mini ghillie for the boots
Hooah,
sighed up as 11B I ship out this October and I hope to get a spot at sniper school
Thank you for your wisdom and service sir!
You guys probably couldn't see but this was a annual meeting of all snipers of the world. There were about 250 snipers hidden in that picture.
+Ryan Eubanks sarcasm..
Jack Avalone where
You may not see him, but there is a third guy camouflaged in the background. If you look real close you can see his electric keyboard!
Ha! Now that's funny :D
You missed the guy hitting the drum
Starlight Visionary where
@@waffles4ev3r and the guy with the guitar smh people be blind nowadays
Classic
you kids have got this down pat, your suits are outstanding, and you both should be very proud of the suits you have made, keep up the great work.
0:25-“Too much radiation. We’ll have to go around.”
"-i've got a guest, you can stand up !
- WHAT THE FUUUUUCK ! "
+Talifurn production :)
The guest was the first one I picked out. Didn't spot the host though
SAAAME Holy Shit
:D
Bro haha that shit was a wtf moment but nice BF3 soundtrack Tactical Ghillies
ppl on the comments don't know what their talking about

this is why we cant find Bigfoot
lol
Whenever he was doing the crouch walk he looked like some demonic forest monster
Good video, guys. I'm in the army now and I've learned these techniques, but it's nice to see others show them to me as well :)
No, there is not. The only way is to either bring cutters and snip of every single twig that's in your way. i have to say your ghillie suits are extremely well constructed for your environment. good stuff gentlemen
you can make shoe covers for them :) or if you have some old shoe's lying around you can permanently add burlap and jute to it.
I've used Dylon dye, Coffee brown, Havanna brown and Olive green. Try ''washing'' it in dark mud. Let me know if it helped
oke, nice ;) altijd goed om nederlandse fan's te ontmoeten.

made mine out of braided jute its heavy for winter its nice i did this in the summer
real snipers move a lot slower than that because slower motion catches less attention than fast motion. These guys looked sloppy lol but I think the reason why they were doing it that fast is cus they were just showing the viewers how it's done.
i would prefer this over a 1 hour video
Real snipers can move at different speeds depending on wind conditions
+jayp knee Book suggestion: Brandon Webb - "Red Circle".
There you can read more about snipers and how they move, etc. Quite fascinating book really.
jayp knee; wow, you mean like the exact same thing he said in the video?
Or you can position yourself in dead space and cover ground in sections faster
all the motions are good in every segment i think its cleanly done 100 % good excellent all ways thankk you for the video
This is the best video that i see.
Post more, guys.
Excellent video guys! Only downside (little bit of constructive criticism) is the music.
In the first photo the guy to the left was in the wrong. Hiding on the side of the tree is called "Tree Cancer" it makes you look very unnatural, but I will admit, with that gillie suite It still made me question my self.
oooo my gosh you guys are awesome I was amazed by the camouflage technique
Very informative, thanks heaps! Keep it up.
@leth1337 thanks :) The ghillie's are actually mostly brown, You just have to add the right vegetation in the right way :D
What sort of dye are you using to make your color? It seems darker than just the undyed version. Mine is undyed burlap, and even after washing it seems too bright for general woodland purpose.
Legend has it that he’s still crawling in those woods to this day.
I think those are the best ghillies I have ever seen
+Not bob Thank you ! :)
@alymuni I'll put them in description ;)
Great video guys!! You all are really talented!
Looking forward to seeing more!
Everytime one of them says "yeah" take a shot...you'll get wasted in no time. Great video!
still doing an amazing job. as always keep up the good work :D
@alymuni You mean the copyright system? It works ;) RUclips still reconised the soundtrack but isn't displaying it in the discription, If you want to know what the name of the track is just let me know ;)
great video guys. helped me out alot.
0:25 I wanna see how this scene looks like on thermal camera x)

The book marine sniper has a part where a squad of nva walk by just three feet away

wow your ghillies match the environment
very nice very original congratulation guys good job

Mooie uniformen😉. Zijn jullie zelf (oud-) militair? Of hebben jullie ze ergens gekocht? Past echt perfect bij de omgeving. Toffe video!👌🏻
someones been reading FM23-10 ; ) great ghille suits by the way
matrat2006 thats good manual
these are merely quick examples, If you listen to the video it's told these techniques are executed much slower and precise.
Brilliant idea, I'll make sure to do that- Great Choice of music! Battlefield for the win!
@finalgamer32 Thanks we will :D
@alymuni It should work :S, Have you enabled the annotations?
I don't mind you asking, No I haven't had any special sniper training.
@AceShot01 And so are we ;) haha, op ons kanaal staan nog meer filmpjes :D
video intro - the second man was compromised and would have been dead under my scope. You on the other hand did an great job as I did not see your position by just scanning but the other was very obvious

Mooie video!

right in the beginning. i backed it up after he got up. and he's still invisible. both of them are
It was nice looking at movement techniques but I was kinda hoping for maneuver techniques to use natural terrains as guard and move undetected

Hey, de meeting is over 2 weken! Je kunt je inschrijven op tacticalghillies.nl !
I didn't see you spotted your guest, but I use a ghillie suit so I have a trained eye.
@wieheissichnochma Nope, this time from BF3 :D
What gloves were they?
We picked up our gloves from a local army dump, we chose the gloves because of the extra grip padding and extra long sleeves
