Hah you think watching videos on YT (and most people probably won't even physically practice any of this) is enough to make civilians battle ready against trained experienced personnel.
The use of force multipliers, choke points, strategic points and the kill zone I think was overlooked, objective data to achieve consistent short to long term results.
Good luck keeping your head down.. the magazine pouches when full will prevent you from keeping your head down. It's best to move magazine pouches on the sides, that should help and keep your body load balanced.
Once big drill had a jar of pickled eggs. I didn't want them so I hid in the woods. He had me low crawl until I sucked so much dirt up my nose, it turned to mud with my spit in my mouth. I had mud in my sinuses for days. Good times.
Fall forward and slam your magazine into the ground like in the computer game video. And what about moving from the other side of your cover so the enemy doesn't have you sighted in when you get up to make your run? How could you leave that out?
Of course it has a lot more work to do, it's a warfare simulator... Unless you meant software/feature wise, but still it's in beta, and fixes are still being made. In fact, that's all that's being done up until release. So yeah.
Hello. I have read FM 3-21.8 (FM 7-8) in details, watched all your basic videos, but I still can not understand: Who is in buddy team (pair) with whom inside fire team? What is the correct order of roles in wedge and file? All pictures in doctine and different parts of your video displays either AR on one side from FTL and GR+R on other, or GR on one side and AR+R on other. The same is for file. What is the corrext order FTL, AR, GR, R or FTL, GR, AR, R? If it may varay, than what is the criteria?
My wtf am I doing moment hit me in basic training when I had to low crawl 100 yards in mud and water under razor wire with an m240 b shooting over my head
The end of the 3-5 second rush you put the butt of your M-16 down in front of you to help absorb shock. Like seen here ruclips.net/video/I5d6I4CkqPw/видео.htmlm16s
Looks like America's Army but they likely just used the assets\from the game to model the video because the maps in that game aren't quite as expansive usually.
And these "advance" tactics were used exactly 0 times during recent wars...American soldiers prefer to hide behind cover and call in air strikes. Might as well not teach lol.
The reason we decimate our opponents is because anyone can pick up a rifle and some can even make hits, but war is a meticulous game of angles and we've had it figured out for decades. The "forces we're against have pretty much no idea how to fight a war other than ambushes and massed infantry, when you know how to move under covering fire and gain fire superiority, and then lock the enemy into a 90° crossfire, you tend to win.
anyone else here from the first video, but now they're just interested in the channel now and binge watching their other vids?
me
Yep, I play a game called DayZ on my PS4 so these vids are of some use to me

I have to get good at airsoft.

I'm supposed to be studying for finals yet I watching multiple US military training videos instead. Because I know how to manage priorities obviously.
how did you end up doing on your finals?

No no, I'm an Arma junkie is why. I can recognise almost anything assosiated with it.
The only concealment I see with that UCP is the rock and maybe your grandmas couch
They really describe trees and vehicles as cover. 5.56 and 7.62 penetrate that like butter.

does a balastic shield count as an acceptable use of cover?
Good information and follow through explainations.
This is cool how the armed forces use a game for training videos
0:49 Americans almost have never fought in that kind of terrain since WWII.
Perhaps, the battle field is dynamic and these basics are important. You can apply these techniques to any terrain.
Oh concealment how does the Universal Camouflage Pattern provide that? 🤔
It's excellent for snowy and rocky terrain , shelled out urban areas and night time

i do i mean i am in a realism unit on arma 2 just think that arma 3 has alot more work to do
I'm here to get ahead in my milsim
We commando crawl around here, sir
low crawl hurts
they used it as a punishment in basic combat training.

forgot commando crawl
One would think they could have drawn a cartoon sling .
timothy thomas it's pretty demanding on the engine to render cloth/fabric and a "solid" sling would clip through the soldiers, walls, etc
i not a game is a simulation

Arma 3 is awesome, but it's not VBS2 ;)
What game is this
Why don't they just call it VBS3?
"Rush" = get the fuck up and run
Who else here is an airsofter
Just curious is all, anybody applying this to the call to arms GOH, or real life, lol
what name of this game
Rohit Chaturvedi it's. It a fucking game

Virtual Battle Space 2, it is a simulation software based on the game ArmA.
Am I the only one watching this video only for enriching my PUBG skill?
It's alpha...
How is this game called?
it is a army simulator on moving under fire
it's basically Arma 2 made for Military (the super pricey version of Arma 2). I prefer running Arma 3 though :)

that dude jumped right on a pile of rocks
if you ask me it sucks right now
watching these videos so i can go to Ukraine

You obviously don't like shooters.
hell no haha id rather deal with dayz
Arma 2 AI was terrible...

That's the Army infantry, this is for Rangers. They use these as needed
you obviously havent heard about the shit ton of battles that have happened in the last 16 years where they use this stuff lol
I recall footage of US troops advancing across a field towards some houses during a firefight using these tactics
