Solid explanation. You were able to do an objective overview of what often seems like a subjective topic. Thanks for the video.

One place I have found the range finding binos to be really handy is hunting with my nieces and nephews. I have the ability to glass for target animals, either by hand or from a tripod, and can then call out ranges to them for a shot without having to swap to a different piece of hardware. I have heard that a lot of guides and outfitters like the RF binos for the same type of situation with their clients. It may not come into play often for some, but could be another aspect of evaluation for those that hunt a lot with family and friends.

Hey there, Mike! That's a great point. Less steps to worry about when you are helping others is certainly helpful! Thanks for watching!

I do this when hunting with my kids, RF binos would be nice but it doesn’t take much time to pull out the RF from the bino harness. It would save time though.

Great video. I trully enjoy your in depth optics analysis. It would be great if you could also compare the new GPO Rangeguide 8x32. I think they could be great for bowhunting, for hunting in Africa and maybe for some mountain hunting. I would truly appreciate your opinion on their built and glass quality and their range finding capabilities.
    Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the kind words! Funny you should mention the GPO Rangeguides.... Shortly after filming this video, we got some of the 10x50 and 10x32s, which will both be in an upcoming huge rangefinder binos shootout we are working on! Stay tuned and thanks for watching!

Amazing vid!!! What are your thoughts on the bushnell fusion? Im rifle hunting and would like to be able o clearly identify small and large game out to 300-500m.

Hey there! Thanks and glad it was helpful.
The Bushnell FusionX are a great value, and would certainly do what you are looking to use them for. The display is a bit on the large side, but given that they are by far the more budget friendly of the ones we tested, they performed admirably. You can see more details on them and all the rangefinder binos we tested here in our review. Thanks for watching!

Great info subscribed. Bushnell has by far the absolute worst customer service and warranty ethics and weasel their way out of honoring their own warranty that's why they got an F from the BBB. Their electronics only have a one year warranty and only if you have dated proof of purchase receipt and illuminated reticles in their scopes only have a one year warranty under the guise of a lifetime warranty which isn't even a real lifetime warranty that they'll likely screw you over for real when you send your claim in. SIG 5 year warranty is from date of manufacture NOT date of purchase just like how Trijicon warranty works. I think it's really insane to buy from brands that don't cover electronics for life unless you really want to buy a disposable throw away rangefinder once their limited one to 5 year warranty is up and it fails and all electronics will fail sooner or later. Burris, Vortex and Athlon are the only brands that I know of that have real lifetime or forever warranties on their electronics making them a truly buy once cry once investment.

Sounds like you don’t see any real advantages to RF binos.

Hey there! Yeah, there are certainly some advantages, like not having 2 units, but that comes at a cost/disadvantage as well. All comes down to personal preference.
