Well, I just added a ton of things to my wishlist for black Friday! (I'm trying not to buy anything until then as I've been shopping my feelings a lot this year and my wallet is angry.) I love how user friendly these are set up - the concealer and powder palettes are especially nicely done. It seems the eastern Asian brands spend more time thinking about how people use products instead of just how quickly they can turn them out.
Smart approach!! You can do it, Black Friday will be here before we know it, and you’ll save the MOST haha! Yeah totally agree, I cannot get over the quality. It really does feel like I’m just bypassing a brand in between (putting their name on it and marking up the price lol!)

The Axis Y toner looks like something I would like - you know, I tried the Dark Spot serum and I am not really sure if I see a difference - I am on my second tube of it. I will keep up with the serum though and see what happens. I am using the haru haru wonder Black Rice pure mineral sunscreen and I am finding that initially there is a white cast, it does disappear - but the Skin1004 Sunscreen looks like it would be very nice for my skin - I'm so pale. I don't wear makeup, but I will keep watching ❤❤❤ Watching people put on makeup is very relaxing to me.
Mm. Yep, that’s the problem with the entire “dark spot” collection imo - it’s better for general brightening. Correcting dark spots? Nah, unlikely! I love the brand but wish they’d revisit the name Ohhh in that case I apologize in advance for that snapping sound when my lash curler breaks. I think that will stick with me for a long time to come 😳😳

The Kaine (pronounced kah-ee-nae) vita drop serum just reminds me of a k-beauty version of Stratia lipid gold 🤷🏽♀️ That Axis-Y toner looks yummy! For some reason I thought it would be a mousse toner, but as soon as you sprayed it I thought “oh that’s gonna be her new Indie Lee!” 😂 my skin does really well with their dark spot glow serum, just overall evening my complexion and texture (I think it’s the squalane, seabuckthorn, + 5% niacinamide combo!) and the texture is so yummy, I’ll definitely be giving the toner a try soon!

Well, that was a lot of fun! The goofs were even more fun, but dang with that eyelash curler! Do you know what would be really helpful for me? Would be a check in with your make up a few hours later for a wear test. I feel like most makeup looks great upon first application but it's what it looks like 4 and 8 hours later that makes a big difference. also would love to see with the make up looks like a natural light. That was a great hall. I'm very interested in the skin 1004 options I have the Centella sunscreen and I love it.

I didn't know SKIN 1004 had that sunscreen, as everyone was talking about the blue top, so will try that centella one next. I have never heard of any of the makeup, but then again I only know the big name ones like romand and clio etc. when it comes to korean makeup, and of course tir tir
Thank you for these speed reviews. I love trying new skincare products. Sometimes I’m experimenting with sunscreens, sometimes it is a new serum or toner. It takes me months to work through a new product I’m testing. C beauty seems to be dialled into a Western aesthetic.

Need to try it out.😄😄Like you I do not wear makeup at home or weekends. My skin is pretty good except for a bit of hyperpigment on both cheeks. Just annoying to deal with the few spots but not bad.

Hi Alice. I may try out the Axis Y mist for the added glow but as for the silicone mask, I guess I will give it a miss since I prefer my usual moisturizer step. The Kaine vitamin drop serum is a great initial instruction for sensitive skin to tryout the vitamin skincare until they venture out to the more potent level. The C brand Gege is pronounced as ker-ker but with a 'g' enunciation in the throat vocal cord. 😊
I'm from Florida too-merritt isl but live in North Georgia, were very very lucky. I've been loving the missha spf in the pink top, but i may have to try the skin1004. Wish i could find something for fine lines that actually works! I've heard good things about the bio collagen masks

We had to contact my Aunt to get update on my other Aunt who in Charlotte, NC. Thankful she's in a part of city that wasn't hit hard thankfully. This storm was super charged looking at the satellite images. Anyway, I have a whole mini Torriden set because Marshall's/ TJMaxx/Winners got dumped with huge shipments of K-beauty I saw a lot of the usuals like Cosrx, BOJ, Skin1004 and Innisfree. Now we got some Kaine, Abib, even Dewytree, SomeByMi and the viral items are locked up. My friend in Canada and my friend on the East Coast is finally seeing Torriden, BOJ, Haruharu and Cosrx. I'm very interested in the Kaine Vitamin C ampoule since it has 3% but I think Medicube vita C has 10% and a Indie brand Skinmiso that I tried last year plus it has similar ingredients but contains 13.5% pure vitamin C but you could count Sea Buckthorn/Vitamin Tree as another vitamin C derivative as well but I see why Korea calls it a the vitamin tree or better yet antioxidants tree.

I did notice the vitamin tree ingredient from another product and immediately went to google it, lol. That mascara wands looks like it would work well on bottom lashes like the winky lux. As for brands and lack of colors/undertones for darker skintones, it's like everytime I check out a chanel that covers make-up, this comes up. It's pretty annoying in this day and age.
Yep!! Yeah these mascaras are wonderful for bottom lashes. Not good for volume or for separation, but good for a light feel on the lashes without weighing them down. I get the hype, it just doesn’t typically apply to me (as I want both volume and separation haha!)
Hi Alice, how terrible what happened with the hurricane in the United States, I'm glad that your family and friends are okay, but I'm very sorry for the families who suffered with the damage and I'm sorry for the deaths that occurred, sometimes one doesn't realize how lucky one is to have their loved ones healthy, you know I have a lot of faith that my partner's situation will be resolved in a good way, I'm not a religious person, but I'm confident that this will help her have a healthier lifestyle, I hope so. Besides, I'm delighted with that elegant mist from Axis-Y, I'm looking for a hydrating mist that doesn't contain perfume, do you think it's appropriate for dry skin? The Kaine serum is more of a soothing serum than anything else and I think it's used to hydrate the skin. And another thing, I wonder, why did you leave the mask on all night? Because as I understand it, it should be left on for 20 to 40 minutes according to the brand's instructions. No you’re so right with the masks. I think biodance is the one to figure out that the system can be used for 20 minutes, or completely exhausted for a visual effect (going from white to clear - an interesting enough change to go “viral”). The masks that existed before the popularity of this category do say to use for 15-20 minutes in the original directions. Now the directions are updated on the same product to say wear overnight. It’s been SO wild to watch this whole thing unfold (no pun intended lol)

I haven’t, but i have decided that if i feel ready to go back to curlers, I’m only going to use either that one or the shu uemura!!

No you’re so right with the masks. I think biodance is the one to figure out that the system can be used for 20 minutes, or completely exhausted for a visual effect (going from white to clear - an interesting enough change to go “viral”). The masks that existed before the popularity of this category do say to use for 15-20 minutes in the original directions. Now the directions are updated on the same product to say wear overnight. It’s been SO wild to watch this whole thing unfold (no pun intended lol)
