Can You Find ANYTHING With This KAIWEETS Entry-Level Pinpointer?

We have both the Kaiweets KGP01 and the new CKG Pinpointer. Totally identical, just one is red and one is blue.

Is the depth the same on the CKG?

@MontereyMagnetMan yeah, totally identical pinpointers outside of the accent colors. I think the CKG is actually a few bucks less which I was surprised about.

The old adage you get what you pay for comes to mind. I was impressed by the dowsing function. In general the Kaiweets pin pointer appears to be Kawap.

I just took a good look at the new CKG pinpointer. Other than it being blue, it looks exactly the same as the Kaiweets! Make of that what you will. 😳

I’ve heard from someone that has both, that the only difference is one is red and the other is blue. 😂

The belt clip is snapped at the top. That's how I lost my Carrot. It unsnapped & slid off somewhere w/the unit attached. Common sense should put the snap on the bottom, under the belt. 🤪If the Kaiweets is truly waterproof, it seems like a good starter unit for beach detectorists. / I hope you get to test the new CKG pinpointer to see if it's as good as their other products. Tnx. 😀

Uh oh. Thats a design flaw then. Looking back I should have fully submerged it to see if it survived. 🤔 I would like to try out the CKG pinpointer, seems decent. Maybe they’ll send on out to me for the holiday season 🤞

Eric, from Seek and Detect, reviewed this same pinpointer. I ended up buying two for my grandkids to use.
I was very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this pinpointer.

Does it have a protective end cap for scrubbing in the sand ?

It doesn’t. But you can find Minelab ones on Amazon for pretty cheap that fit most, if it all pinpointers. I think it’s 3 for $11.99 or something like that.

Love my Mi-6 and my Mi-4. Best pinpointers on the market in my opinion.
