I uncorked mine last night too, and same experience, lacking for a 15 year. I'm keeping the bottle to be my infinity bottle once emptied. I'll refill it with residual Scotch bottles

The bourbon reminded me of a dry, thinner blanton's. It had a sweet cherry and almond taste with a very dry finish. This is the only time I'll ever do this but I bought it just for the bottle. I was looking for a nice decanter with a cork for my infinity bottle and this was perfect. So I paid $75 for the perfect infinity bottle and an ok 15yr old bourbon. I'm not upset about that. I wouldn't pay that for a second bottle.

stick with old fo 86 proof for 25 dollars.

It sucks, its drano quality. Just refill it with Knob Creek 12 year and enjoy the bottle
