YAY!! Another surprise video!! :D This is the reason why there has not been any updates on TB4, because i have been busy working on this (and another secret project that was recently uploaded on Tumblr). It was a pleasure to work with Gaby and we are so happy to share our little baby with you guys!
Random fact: The music video for Perfect Ruin was filmed a stone throw from where I grew up (kan jag säga "ett sten kast ifrån" när vi pratar om Boden-Luleå??). :,3

STORIES:
We agreed that our main theme was going to be "a ghost who is in love with a human", but other than that we had free range. :)
Miguel/Nani - A story about young lovers whom lost their way. The girlfriend is verbally abusive to the man whom still loves her dearly, and after having died in an attempt to save her, he returns as a ghost. But instead of being grateful, she laches out on him once again.
Shang/Marina - A husband mourning his late wife, but is blessed with the chance to meet her once again. Very simple really, I just wanted something cute (and play around with the hand holding shot while Marina is see-thorough). Originally I was going to use Mulan instead of Shang, but Shang won due to his few wardrobe changes.
Giselle/Proteus - Based on all the countless true stories when somebody has tragically taken their own life without anybody having a clue as to why. So there is really no point in asking me why she did what she did, because I have decided not to know the reason myself. (And I hope that it was somewhat clear that I was trying to drag attention to her lack of a shadow.) PS: For me Giselle has been one of the hardest characters to mask up to date.
Beast/John Rolfe - This is the one that has the longest backstory (and also the one I would most likely base a longer video on), but I could only get in so much. Basically; "A cursed king finds his humanity after having realized that his actions as a human had caused the death of a man. With time and the help of the man's ghost he finds goodness inside of him, and eventually even love." Notice the change in John's color shame from beginning to end. :D

What's really sad about the Giselle one is that she seems so happy after the suicide (or her ghost is) or that she (as a ghost) doesn't remember it happening. But she seems so happy and carefree in that part. It's really sad.
Oh man, every part was beautiful and haunting, but that Giselle/Proteus part was just right on the money. Chills and perfect pacing to lead to that revelation. Proteus's reaction shots are perfect for it. Props for making that work so well. Although the whole concept behind John/Beast is fascinating. I'd love to know what caused John to stay after his death to help his own killer to be a better man....er....beast, rather. ;)

This was so astonishingly beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. Giselle's part really stuck hard, you did a wonderful job despite her being difficult. Beast and John were a super handsome couple, I had forgotten how hard I crushed on John Ralph as a kid until I saw this haha. Thank you for the much needed release. Sometimes a good cry can help a lot.
+Hiragirin John Rolfe was the character model they should have used as the beast's human form at the end of Beauty and the Beast. XD
My favorite is the John Rolfe/Beast and Giselle/Proteus those two were just heartstring tugging and moving.
Wow! This was gorgeous! All the stories were easy to understand and beautifull!The image of Gisele hanged actually sent shivers down my spine.
Holy crap! The Giselle/Proteus part really fucked me up. I was NOT expecting THAT!
However this is an amazing collab and the both of you did such an incredible and flawless work of art.

This was great! How did you make the dead characters translucent like that?
I just wanted to mention just how much I love this video. The music selection is excellent. The stories are emotional and they really capture you. But for me... I rewatch and get to enjoy all the little things as well. The way the story reflects the music-- the way you are surprised and sad along with the characters (giselle's scene D:). The twinkle that goes along with Ariel's final disappearance. The way that the story of the beast+ralph? effectively shows us 1. what happened 2. the emotions of both characters 3. the progression of the relationship in just 30 seconds. I just marvel at the talent and effort that had to take place in order for a video of this caliber to be made. This is such a beautiful way to tell stories and I simply don't have the words enough to portray my gratitude for both of your hard work so that I can see it!
I am in serious shock and amazement... tl;dr this video gave me the feels hard. kudos to both creators for being absolutely excellent!

Oh my god. What have you done to me? My brain cannot handle what I just saw here, a beautiful and tragic story. Each tale was so well crafted and the editing precise. It made me feel like I needed a hug.

OMG. This was amazing. The editing was spot on and the stories behind the ships were so well crafted. This video gives a rely good example of how strong love is. It can cause pain and happiness at the same time like eric and odette was the pain side cuz she loved him so much that she gave up her life to be with him. And than John Rolf giving beast love that healed his aching heart is so touching. The one with Gisele just stabbed me in the heart when he saw her body but it's nice to know she's happier and in a better place
Oh heavens....I honestly jumped when I saw Giselle's body. My boyfriend had to turn and ask if I was okay...This is so hauntingly beautiful! Absolutely amazing job yet again from both artists! Every mask was clean and I definitely could understand the story line with each couple!! Well done!

PS: I do appreciate the compliment (regarding Part 3), but if you ever again leave a homophobic comment like this under my videos, I will have to block you so that you cannot comment at all.

Seeing Giselle's body hanging like that almost made me shudder. I'd also love to see a continuation of the part with the Beast and John Rolfe. I love stories like that.

Like, not only are you obviously the best at manips like, ever ever ever, but you also craft really moving, complex, and wholly engrossing circumstances for your characters? I'm in awe. Always. Is is odd to say that I love when you take these beloved Disney characters, and just pile the pain on them? XD
I guess what I mean is I love the "ah-ha!...wait...what...oh...oh dear" feeling I get when you go in a completely different direction than expected. It's interesting to see so many different kinds of ghost encounters. Tarzan, Kenai, and Shang seeing a dead loved one's ghost, but continuing to live. Herc and Odette seeing a loved one's ghost, but having a bitter/sweet feeling to it. Proto and Miguel reuniting with a loved one's ghost...and it takes a very dark turn. And then Beast falling in love with a ghost!
While all the stories were pretty clear what happened, there was one thing that I didn't understand. Was Eric supposed to be some sort of demon? Why did he look so different from the other ghosts? All shadow with creepy eyes. He almost looked like one of the shadow heartless from Kingdom Hearts.
+Onjivan23 I can answer wtf with Eric (Cause I made that part xD), at first I visualized Eric as a pirate, that's why I made his soul black, also I wanted to make him creepy, like when you're in the dark and you see something moving and you're like "oh my God, I'm gonna die" xD Well.... that xD but I prefer people think whatever they want so that makes it more interesting (in my opinion) :D and well the game Limbo inspired me to do that shadow, but you're right looked like a heartless, maybe he is? :O chan, chan.... could be xP
...I have to keep reminding myself that when people work on videos in "collaboration", they aren't always sitting side by side in the same room working on the same clips at the same time lol so I guess I need to say "good work" to ThePirateMermaid as well

I'm in utter awe... this... this beautiful masterpiece.. has me in tears. Guess it makes me think of my mom. I lost her to cancer, will be a year in Nov. Wow, you both are absolutely amazing! Some of these stories here look so real and deep, it brings up a lot of emotions. I have to say my favourite one is the Giselle/Proteus because it made me feel so sad so strongly that I had to watch the video again just for that. Also, the graphics of the Miguel/Nani one are superb, it looked like they were both from the same film.
TheNamelessDoll, I've simply followed you the longest so I can give you this compliment - you have improved so much, significantly over the past few months, I am really speechless upon seeing your creations and have always enjoyed them.
