This is the first story of mine that was purely born out of how I interpriated the lyrics of a song (usually I create a story and then find a song that fits afterwards). Like the English “spouce”, the Finnish “puoliso” is not gendered and I always imagined Samuli singing about two men and their life together and I had to do something with it. :3

PITCH:
An elderly man spends his early morning reminiscing all the years of his marriage; both the ups and downs.
FEATURING: Dimitri (Anastasia 1997), Eric (The Little Mermaid 1989)
There isn't really a plot-plot here, even thogh there is a story. I want to belive that most of this is straight forward, so I will not add a story description, but if you have any queations just ask.
BULLET-POINTS (spoilers):
- Both Nani and Cindy are adopted.
- Dimitiri lost contact with his parents after he married Eric.
- The “grandchildren” on the wall are Cindy´s biological kids.
- Naveen and Audrey are Dimitri´s close friends.
- Eric is an actor (Belle is his co-worker).
- Eric recovered from his cancer, and he lived to celebrate his and Dimitir´s golden wedding annivercery (AKA: married for 50 years).
Headcanons that are not obvious/shown here:
- Dimitiri is gay, while Eric is ace/homoromantic.
- Cindy walked in her father´s fotsteps and got a career in the arts.
- Nani became an Olympic surfer.
- Cindy married a wonderful man and got 2 children.
- Nani (ace/aro) never married/got a life-partner or had biological children, but lived a fullfilling life nonetheless. She did however become a motherfigure to a teenage fosterchild later in life. (I have plans of making a spinoff video about her)
- Nani has ADHD
- Comared to Dimitiri, Eric´s family hold nothing against him for who he is.
- Dimtiri was a photografpher.
Idea that had to be cut due to lack of space:
The reason why Eric is so sad during the after-party was becasue he had recently been slandered in the news for not being straight. Dimtiri, a paparazzi at the time, had been assigend the mission to get pictures of the humiliated star, but instead of doing his job he came out of the closet himself.

Due to this video´s sudden rise in popularity I feel the need to address one tiny thing:
*This is not an “Alternative Universe” story.* This is not a case of “What would have happend if Dimitri from Fox Animation Studios´ “Anastasia” met Disney´s prince Eric?”. Not even close.
This is an *original story that I decided to tell with the help of already existing characters*. Why? I am not an animator. I cannot create my own characters from scratch on my own. I would need a team of animators in order to do that, something that I do not have the budget to do at this moment in my life. So I “borrow" characters from already existing movies and manipulate them in order to tell the story I want to tell (non-profit of course).
Summary: *These characters have nothing to do with the events in their respective movies.* Eric is not a prince, Dimitri has not time-traveled to modern times, there are no aliens for Nani to meet, there is no magic, etc. So put away your movie-canon-glasses and imagine these characters as completely new ones and enjoy the video for what it is: an original story told in a non-traditional way.

OH MY GOD!!! We both watched this together and let me tell you there were so many times when we both gasped or "awwed" or squealed! Oh my god. Every single mask. You probably already know how good you are at that!!! But the scene choice the story line. When Lilo and Jane (Nani and Cindy) were growing up, that montage was just so adorable. And that manip of Eric taking Dimitris hand to dance. Perfect. And when the lights turned on and Dimitri was older and Eric returned from cancer treatment we were both saying "oh my god"

I vaugly remembered watching this years ago and i just found it again now and i'm sobbing. This is so good and wonderful.
Despite the sad theme that starts at the beginning, this video is filled with so much happiness and life! There are so many details that tell you about their lives and how happy they make each other. The sadness of Eric's battle with cancer is a little rushed, but I think that fits because the happiness of their life overcomes the sadness.
Beautiful in story, pacing, and edit! I'll definitely be watching this a few more times to get all the details :)

This is the most touching disney/non-disney crossover I have ever watched. So beautifully done I can't stop watching it over and over again.
I'm actually in tears right now! Then I began smiling as the video went on. I LOVE the use of the clips where they're kinda showing home videos and everything, with their adopted children growing up. It was so cute. I'm glad the ending was happy, though, and that he survived. This is amazing ;w;

I've been binge watching these kinds of videos for days for the sake of boredom and curiosity. However, this is by far one of the best one's I've seen. All the scenes were in sync with the music, so well edited you would have never guessed these were characters from separate movies, and the story was easy to follow from start to finish. IT WAS AMAZING END OF STORY
Another fantastic video from you, dear ♥ As a sister to a cancer survivor, I truly feel like you captured Dimitri's emotions perfectly. Feeling sad and angry - but also happy for the time you had/have with your loved one. And I do appreciate that you chose a happy ending, otherwise I would've burst out in tears (even more than now xD)
The thing most of the comments mention is Eric's bald head, and I find that interesting because of another topic that flies around in the Disney community - the discussion of a prince/princess with cancer or a handicap. People will look past the real "story" and only focus on what's different/wrong with the character. Even I were suprised by the scene of Eric, but my thought was "someone finally did it" - and laughing about it would only be me laughing at you and the story.

I noticed something in your videos: everybody seems to have/find their place in the world. Careers, hobbies, purposes. Even the "To Belong" main characters look like they know what they want and need, despite being homeless and hopeless. So, I'd like to give you an idea, of course, you decide what to do with it: what about making a video regarding a person who is wasting his/her life away, someone who just doesn't know what to do, what to feel, what to think? This might sound excessive but there are countless people like this in the world. I'm sure you could do it flawlessly like always. Oh, and be utterly proud of this masterpiece, because it's indescribable.

This was very interesting for me to read, because at first I did not agree AT ALL!! Like, I was waiting my finger in the air, ready to be all snarky, telling you about all the characters that I have that are exactly what you are talking about.
But then I remembered: I have not made crossover versions of these stories yet.

((wanted to share about one my my favorite OCs that fall into the character type that you were describing))
It´s the main protagonist form what I would call "my own princess story". She was born mute, and due to the ancient customs that still prevail in her country she is seen as a bad omen and becomes an outsider right from he start. Even though she is the king and queens only child she looses the right to the throne, and even though she has political power, she is not taken seriously by anyone. While the years go by she looses her parents, whom are replaced by an other family, and now she is left completely in the shadows. She is still royal, but with no power and nothing to live for.
Then shit happens and the story gets going and there are assassins and balls and betrayals and wonderful things going on and I want to make this into a movie so bad!! (* _ *)
