The Olight H1 Nova is a superb headlamp. It has a wide variety of lumen levels that provide a good balance of light vs battery life. The lamp is very comfortable and versatile in that it can be removed and used as a pocket light utilizing it's pocket clip and it has a magnetic base as well. Given it's versatility, function, and user friendliness, the H1 Nova is, in my opinion, a new standard for Headlamps in the flashlight industry.

This is pretty much the only headlamp I've ever seriously wanted and I definitely need to get one soon. I'd probably EDC this as well.
It is a good one in my opinion. Thanks for watching Aaron.
you riding the bike around is an excellent showcase because I used to struggle for real riding around and holding a flashlight.
That was my 5 year old son riding the bike silly ;) And yes, I know that struggle well. Thanks Micah!
Perfect headlamp. Ordering now. Thank you
Awesome! I think you'll find it useful. Thanks for watching!
Darn, I just got the Thrunight TH20 in January... For some reason, it died on me, but thankfully Amazon returned it! Well, now there is something else that looks really good. By the way, I'm in boy scouts, and I convinced the Scouters to make pizza soup! I took that idea from your video! Thanks!

Now that is awesome! You just made my day! I hope you all enjoyed :) Thanks for letting me know Matthew :)
Whopee!
I just got one about two weeks ago and that is a really awesome light!!! It is my new go to light really for everything!
It's a great little light, no doubt. Thanks!
I feel a headlight, especially one that can be hand-held or clip mounted (even better if it can be clipped to a hat brim), is much more versatile than a hand-held only light. I agree an AA version would make it even better. If you can find more lights in this category I would love to see them. Thanks for sharing Joe
Thanks Mark! If I see one that catches my eye, I'll definitely show it off.
That was nice of Chris to pass it along. I've been wanting to get something similar to that design the only problem here is its next to impossible to find any of the other than normal battery size in my local stores. Great review though as always. God bless and stay safe.
The lowes here carries SureFire batteries in 2 and 25 packs. Aside from that, I can't find them anywhere else either. Thanks Rich!
Looks like a great light I like it.
I've found it to be really handy. Thanks Jeff!
Thank you for your detailed reviews Joe. But I really like your take on camp cooking and outdoor projects. How about a few more recipes? Did see your dessert vid from a few days ago.
Thanks David! More recipes coming soon :) Thanks so much for the encouragement and support!
used zebra lights in that form factor as my edc for a few years now.. very convenient
cheers mate
I haven't heard of that brand before. I'll check them out, thanks!
you actually do really good on the nighttime view picking up the light. i always have issues with it. great review and that light is awesome i too like that it can be removed and used as a handheld.
Thanks Tac! If you're camera has issues picking up the beam of a flashlight, film at dawn or dusk when it's just "this side" of being dark. The ambient light will give your camera's sensor the light it needs to function but not so much that the flashlight's light won't stand out.
Right on.
Seems like a nice flashlight.
Thanks for the video
Great review . Wish it was a AA . Thanks For sharing.
I agree. I think a AA version would be killer! Thanks!
That thing is awesome. I really like the options on how you can use it. I have the olight S1Baton which is about the same size and I love it, but it's a traditional flashlight pointing forward. You can clip it on a baseball hit tho so it has it's place, but this one is a better option imo.
Thanks for the vid!
I've had my eye on that one. Putting them on a cap would definitely be handy. Thanks!
I really like that light thanks for sharing I'll have to check it out I appreciate you for your review you take care until next time
Thanks Ellis, I am glad you found it helpful!
Awesome I love my Olite . Quality stuff!! Wish I saw this video before I bought my black diamond :p
It is the first newer model Olight I've used and I was extremely impressed. Thanks Jimbo!
nice
Thanks for watching Tim.
WOW !!! Lay off the caffeine for a day !!!! Your speech was 12% faster than Your usual quick pace. I had to replay a couple times to catch it all !!! WOW Again !!!!
Exactly 12%, nice catch ;) Thanks for watching Wally.
Oh, forgive me, I forgot very Good vid on the light. You do, as always, cover all the points of use of a product !
Sigh! ANOTHER piece of Great Gear I need to buy, Blast It!
lol sorry! It is a good one imo. Thanks Leslie!
Wow! You talk fast for this Southern Boy, LOL :-)
I do, I know. The sleepier I am, the faster I talk. Sorry!
It's ok, I love your videos.
The H1 NOVA has no 'red light' function. What would be a safe, non-irritating lumen setting around others at camp/shelter?
Chris Tanner from Going Gear? I know him from PM101. I did not know he was a part of Going Gear.
I think what he meant was "...from Going Gear by way of Chris Tanner..."
slip of the tongue I'm sure
Its his second home, of a constructed type building !
"Chris Tanner by way of Going Gear"
Im sorry i must of missed it. Is this is in neutral or cool white?
I don't need another light. I don't need another light. I don't need another light.....
LOL! Like knives, a man can not have too many Mike.
what battery do you prefer?
In smaller lights I prefer AA and larger lights I prefer 18650's. But I still have plenty of lights that run off of cr123's too. Thanks!

I'm sorry?
