You're welcome! I'm glad the video helped. 😊 In my repair, I used 99% rubbing alcohol to soften the adhesive (those white pull tabs Apple uses to secure the battery). This makes it much easier to pull out the battery without needing to remove the Taptic Engine and speaker. I also placed the phone on a heat plate to further loosen the adhesive, which sped up the process. The guides you’ve seen likely recommend removing the Taptic Engine and speaker to give more room for pulling the adhesive strips, which can be helpful if you’re not using rubbing alcohol or heat.
