I love these videos. Being able to confirm I’m reading the instructions right and having the torque specs to install the SD 038 I got from Mani makes me a bit more comfortable doing it myself. My wife loves that I make a wishlist with links to the exact item I need and if she ever gets a wrong selection Mani is the man for helping us correct it.

Brillaint video and cool stuff going on in that s1krr! keep up the good job. Got a question for Zack. If S1krr is premium package which includes DDC, can you still install Ohlins damper? As Ohlins damper isnt electronic, will it not confuse the bike (or probably give error)?
I have upgrade to Ohlins damper on my 17 Sthou and very noticeable improvement at the track. Much smoother and faster turn in with good progressive intervention when needed.

Good vid 650ib do you or 5up have a specific type of engine coolant that you all like to run in your italian bikes (specifically Aprilia) because i cant seem to get what mine calls for in the states. Alot of people are saying Engine Ice brand. Just looking for other peoples opinions. Thanks in advance

I’m a novice. Why was the damper place on the front fork instead of the top of the fork by the handlebars?

WAS IT NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE FULL FRONT FAIRING FOR INSTALLATION? OR WAS THE FRONT ALREADY OFF FROM SOMETHING ELSE DONE TO THE BIKE?
We had to remove the entire front fairing to get to the damper.

@@Subi_doo you dont need to remove anything, im a tech and own one literally just took mine off to clean and reinstalled. For video purposes i can see removal but just fyi it can be done wo any other removal. Torque ur shit always. And s1k all day.
