This is our trawler life story.
We retired early and decided to make a big change. We sold everything and moved aboard our 54' Cheoy Lee passagemaker, a “go anywhere in the world”, ocean going power boat.
That was in 2014 and we have never looked back.
Now in our late 50's we are free of work and we are living aboard and cruising our trawler full time.
We have two additional crew members, feline brothers, Blake and Barkley. Yes, we have two brave (sorta) boat cats, on board!
Join us and our crew, on our adventures as we explore new places, discover more about our trawler and what makes her work, and learn more about ourselves in our young retirement years. Our hope is to entertain and inspire you to pursue your own passions through telling our story of our cruising trawler lifestyle.
Thanks for watching, subscribing, and liking Cruising Sea Venture!
Best, Jim, Rosy, Blake and Barkley
The community dog reminds me of "Dirty Biter" The LaConner community dog who has a statue dedicated to him outside the LaConner tavern. Love someone's creativity with the sand art. Towns with a whimsical nature and community are wonderful to visit. I think Pt. Townsend, LaConner and Bellingham top the list in the NW. Old "hippie" towns that have left there mark with their art and whimsical love of life and do good things spirit. Beautiful to see and a blessing on the creator and all who observe their efforts.
Thanks Gus another great episode. Rosy you’re doing the work by catching those beautiful sunrises. Recovering from quadruple bypass I look forward to your videos.
Rosey, I love your Hat.
Go Hawks!
Ones like the markers where boats have visited an Island off the East Coast of Australia and in the Bahamas
I think "onboard lifestyle" left a painted shell at that tree a few months ago. Thanks for the video
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Now seeing a location like this would find it very hard not to get kitted up with the semi-closed aqua system and see what lays beneath the waters here
Straight 30 oil for fuel injector pumps on those Lehmans when you change oil....
Enjoyed this, thank you. What are the temperatures like in the morning at sunrise, please?
Usually around 75.
