I think that this version is better than the original
Certainly not. All it adds is a little electric guitar, but it's no improvement.
Neil Diamond's is still far better. This guy only adds a little simple electric guitar and speeds up the tempo, but his voice pales in comparison.
Finally, a song with a better artist than Neil. Never like Neil Diamond because he has no true feelings for his music. I heard his version, and the song is great, but it deserves better. David Cook does a great version on this song. Kudos to David.
If you think Neil doesn't have feeling in his songs then it's obvious you've not heard very many.
