is it possible to randomize the speed ? I tried adding a random value to the scene time, didnt work somehow
this is a great effect and well explained, your presentation style also feels very natural. my ONE request is for a more visually organized node tree, like some labeled frame nodes so we can see what's what as we follow along
This might only work with Node Wrangler enabled, but hitting Control+J will add a frame around your selected nodes
Thank you, this tuto was amazing, i understantd geometry node more now. But around 36:50 i never succed to make the sparkles stop at some point, they just continued to fly away
That's right it's wrench not a cornflabbin spanner! #Murica
Wait a sec... did you say ZED?
Cool👍
Hi! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial about how to efficiently animate RCS thrusters going off based on a spaceships angular velocity
This tutorial is great, but I dont think it would work well if any object is moving, no? Since the laser always follows a straight line from A to B, it would awkwardly change direction mid flight if the origin moved (eg if it was a spaceship)
An interesting scheme, but it has a problem. What if I need to fire 2 lasers in a row instead of 1, and have 2 explosions in a row...?! Your laser is connected to the explosion - that's bad. The laser fired from the weapon flies anywhere, it can no longer be stopped, and in your case, I will have to wait until the last explosion is over...
Is there a way have the sparks appear only when the laser impacts something?
I watched your previous video on doing that via workaround with particle systems.
thanks for the tuto. less cluncky than using particles but with noticable limitations.
