On one hand I am happy the PLANE is coming to the game, I think its a fun fit for its br HOWEVER I am not the happiest at how. Its such an expensive premium and as recent sales have shown, people are willing to open their wallets for it and suddenly your lobbies from now 11-12.7 are going to be full of premiums. I do not mind them in principle as I use some myself when working on the next TT however, I think the bonus's they give are too high really disincentivizing variety. I wish there was a GE talisman like option that can either be earned through major playtime for a discount or bought to really give TT planes the option to earn more than their premium counterparts. That would still let premiums be a good entry point but also allow people to say 'upgrade' their favorite planes and encourage that increased variety.
You know, I use a turkish trader to get everything with 60% discount, so I'm not actually mad at these prices *since I'm getting it for less anyway*
It's not that premiums give too much bonus, it's really tech tree vehicles give too little.

I don't think you realize how expensive it would be if it was an event vehicle on the gaijin market. It would start selling at $80 dollars instantly and only go up from there. Anyone unable to do the event would pay more for it being an event vehicle than it being a premium

With the addition of the Aim 9P-4 I do hope the F4EJ ADTW gets them to buff up the vehicle. It will be able to compete with the 11.0 vehicles with better flight performance and all aspects.
that goes for all the 11.0 plus phantoms, atleast give them aim-9L's. Its really rough trying to keep up in em with all the new planes being put in their tier range

No bucko, it’s the whole entire enemy team because they know you don’t have that many flares and they suck at actually decoying missiles. F-14s have a higher chance of survival than F-20s do

@@code6499 skill issue, with the mig29g i start the game with 60 flares and end with 20-40, even when getting into the thick of it, missiles in this game suck ass and are INCREDIBLY flare hungry, but players prefer to flare spam when one or two are enough for each IR missile

The speed may not be as good but holy crap the acceleration is insane.

Event vehicles are shit. It's a harder grind to even get it, then on top of that you have to spade it for a vehicle that will have 0 bonuses. It's better as a premium. Overpriced but it's better as a premium than an event or tech tree vehicle. It will definitely be worth it on sale.
Only 3 were built and 2 more partially built, it is the definition of proper premium material.

f5e moments were some of my favorite moments on this game, other then r73 moments
I never had a problem with the guns, I personally like how they feel and I can usually get 1 gun kill per game

It was an over priced, improved F-5E in real life. What killed the Tigershark in real life was that for just a bit more countries could get the F-16 which was a more versatile fighter. As much as I want it, I wouldn't even pay that much for a full fidelity DCS module.
Ah you saw my comment about it being the F18 engine not F16 lol. GG I initially thought it was F-16 engine too until I read this awesome book by the test pilot Paul Metz. I would highly recommend, dude flew the F-20 and the YF-23. Flipping insane

It’s still a pretty fun jet to fly, with the new BR changes it sits at 12.7 and I think it’s pretty powerful at this BR. Sure you can get up tiered into 13.7 but the enemy team will only have like 3 guys with fox 3’s, and in a down tier this thing is an absolute monster, if you have the extra money and really want to fly it out I’d say spend the money because I haven’t had that much fun it’s jets in a long time

Ironically this might be one of the better prem additions recently, given its BR not being another bomb and die plane that sucks at everything else, buyers will sorta be forced to learn the game if they want to have a decent experience. Plus it's also new free food for the people that speed grinded to top tier, could say it's a some what win win situation(

If that's the same engine as the F-18, the afterburner flame needs to be pink.
I don't know why it's afterburner flame is an odd color IRL, but it is, and it's especially apparent when they're taking off at night.
Then again, if Gaijin was really concerned about realism, jets wouldn't do 14g turns. 8g would be a lot, and 9g is almost guaranteed to knock out the pilot.

Defyn is a god tier player for sure. But for me EEGS makes it so easier to land shots in a head on or in side aspect. Probably i'm just not so confident in my own estimation of lead wtih these cannons

Wierd, I'd prefer M39 over M61 any day. It's one of fav guns in the game. But other than that, I agree. 75€ is insane (even if you got GJN to waste) for a plane that barely brings anything new in terms of gameplay.

The reason for the price is that it is at a higher rank than the last highest rank premiums. To Gaijin that means that it should cost more.

The F-5C is what I am currently using to grind the US with.
Now, I used to do quite well with it, rarely dying, generally 1 kill per game (maybe a little less, but kills were still common) and yet today I am struggling with the plane.

I was wondering what the Br should be like if gaijin really wanted to make a balanced game, 2h later I have a somewhat rushed list of how I would do it.
But first a few disclaimers:
I have not played China, Italy, France, Sweden and Israel. The others I have.
I haven't paid to much attention to top tier in this list, so everything after the F14A is to be taken with a grain of salt.
I tried to keep it realistic, by that I mean something that gaijin might maybe consider, e.g. if if was up to me the hunter f6 should have its missiles replaced by aim9 or smthg, I would hard cap the br after the cl13aMk5 etc...
TANKS ARE NOT TAKEN IN CONSIDERATION, they need a dedicated Br for that
