- This covers the variety of the retractable landing gear that is available for model airplanes including Mechanical, Pneumatic and electric retracts. Just brief overview of the types of systems that are available. also includes two retractable tailwheels that came from Robart.
The first unit was from Carl Goldberg and dates to the early 1970’s. Kraft sold an electric unit also in the ‘70’s.

Can you show how to set it up on the receiver?
The connector on the electric retracts would plug into the reciever just like any ESC or other servo. I typically put the landing gear on channel 5 or higher and assign it to a toggle switch.
How can I search this landing gear in online shopping
I recently replaced 1 electric retract and now 1 gear goes up while the other goes down? Any idea how to get them both to be in sequence?

Are there any that go straight out?
Any of the main or nose gear units are designed to swing thru a set number of degrees. Some only move 80 degreees, the majority will swing either 85 or 90 degrees. The 105 degree units are are used for some twin engine main gears or nose gear units. Not sure what you mean by straight out.
if you are looking for a retract unit with the electric jackscrew on the opposite side of the retracted position some manufacturers offer this type of design

what product's have these?
The Grey plastic ones are from Robart, the metal ones I got from Hobby King. the retractable tailwheels came from robart. The units that I like best is E-Flite which is not shown in this video.
