Its one of my favorite Rae verses. This joint is legendary every verse was fire and the beat is otherworldly. RZA was the Jordan of hip hop production in '95.
The first time I heard this was coming out of a club in London and someone was blasting this from their car, roof down. It was mesmerising, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Never forget that feeling. It was next level.
I still don't believe how good this beat is. When I first heard it back in the 90's it just sounded so much different to the entire album. I listened it to it like over 10 times.
i have come to the conclusion that it was impossible for RZA to make this beat without briefly dying, visiting heaven and hearing the voice of God before returning back to Earth.
This might be a hot take but Rae and Ghost are the two most underrated of the original WU Tang members and this album is by far one of the greatest projects I've ever listened to it's on par with GZA's liquid swords
Stop crediting Diddy for this...All he did was move like a rich c.... To the beat. If Diddy brought you here then you don't need to know about this tune...You're 23 yrs too late.
proceed with caution as you enter the symphony degrees of punishment increase intensely Syndrome was caused by the deadly drums but the battle was won by swords being swung
I remember that too. The Tim Westwood show on Radio 1 Saturday nights... Back then verse's and features was do or die. Master Killa's verse proves my point!
Digging through my original WU collection from 90s brought me here. This is one the greatest, hard to pick between this album and Liquid Swords. Both them
Mumfnah tha evurliving I feel that ...liquid swords was dope no doubt but the narrative ghost and rea brought to the table jus incaptulates the 90s hip hop in every way . Remember on triumph right after Gza and Masta Killah drop mad science and 5 percent teachings. Do u remember what Ghost 1st line was ..
This album is famous for ghostface being better on it than raekwon and ironman is famous for raekwon being better than GFK on it... Still masta killah imo is beast mode on this track..
if you ask Hip Hop-People "Whats the best album of all time?" the only correct answer is "Illmatic" but personally I put OB4CL as the only album above Illmatic. Just like Illmatic, it's flawless. Even Nas provided one of his best verses of all time as the only guest appearance on this album. His verse on Verbal Intercourse is easily on Illmatic-Level. The production is flawless, the raps are for sure flawless and the whole composition of the album is flawless.
i will say... illmatic, all eyes on me, ready to die, wu tang's 36 chambers, the chorinic, doggystyle, hard to earn, bacdafucup, cypress hill... just to name the most significants of that golden era
Masta Killa’s verse on this is one of the greatest of all time imo. Hard to believe he was the least experienced of the clan, consistently stands out in pretty much every track he appears on.

One of the greatest rap records ever made.
Masta killa's style is like a calculated, strategic, Unorthodox silent assassin ninja.
masta killa kills this shit. Come to think of, almost every track that features mastakila, he kills it.

Masta Killas verse is pure fire man.

This confirmed to me that RZA was on a different planet. #Masterpiece
Too far ahead of his time.
I don't care who or what brought you here, you're here, now rejoice in the purest form of iconic, legendary hip hop and talent 👑🔥👑🔥👑
Real shit
Ghosts flow on this one is, shortly said, out of this world.
That’s cause ghost to this day is the best to ever do it
Sounds pretty shit to me. Messy af.
Hell yeah as usual.....hes always my fav on the track. Always opens hard as fuck and his delivery and flow are unmatched....insane with the wordplay.

How can anyone compare hip hop now to these gems.
It’s embarrassing to even say now - a day rap is half as good as this.
