Should I do another 100 or try a different game like guilty gear or tekken? Also this is diaphones video: ruclips.net/video/a8ZtEp7pG2A/видео.htmlsi=8NepO1E1Pb9Z_0p3
Another 100, I'm trying to get better, and I have friends who are teaching me how to play. You are showing that people can learn the game, and I'm excited to hopefully run into you in game. Hopefully you can get to master rank, and may your journey to that rank be legendary :D
Do another 100 SF6 is my first 2D fighting game and i'm now a master ED player you can definitely do it and it would be very fun to watch your journey.
This is very fun to watch someone improve along the journey and many moments where very impressive to see once you got used to Eds buttons little by little. Love watching the boxer 💪
Good luck in SF6. Now get 2-3 combos in case of a jHp, Di. For example, you made a DI at the wall, then you can make a combo cHk-->Hflicker-->HBlitz , without losing a bar. So that you can inject more damage into these mistakes. And don't use the OD DP in the combo, and replace it with OD psicho flicker and finish with a hBlitz. Once you learn, start complicating these combos.
You got the right mindset bro. I love it. We were all there at some point. I remember losing every game of sf4 when it came out not knowing anything but still having fun even taking a round on someone. It's so much fun improving. It's like playing chess on an opponent. Trying to understand how they play.
Bro congrats! It doesn't matter what rank you are as long as you're learning and improving, that's the important thing , a huge acomplishment on itself and what makes the game so fun at the end of the day, kep it up! and keep up the fun content :)
You got so many fundamentals down from just 100 games! Not just playing the actual game but also the FGC attitude with how goal oriented you played, your mental, how you called out specific concepts you wanted to learn, how you were reading your matches and interpreting them in real time, you're killing it! Have fun with SF6!!
As a fairly new player myself, this was a lot of fun to watch, especially you figuring out how to best the demon Lily. Good luck on your journey to Gold and beyond!
@@imhitchplays aye u will get there man u went from the beginning of the video not really able to do any combos to doing some solid combos. Once u learn the punishes it's GG for everyone else hope to see more
A little time in training mode learning at least a punish combo and a jab combos and that would carry u u got great adaptation. I only made it the dhlasim part so far
Congratz man, u did great❤ I hope u keep on playing and learning 😊 you should try learning the "dream combo" that Ed has with his lvl2 😮 maybe making it your next goal (landing the dream combo in match).
Yeah! I really want to try it out. Im going to practice it and make another 100 matches style of video probably later next week! thank you for the kinds words
Dont learn the dream combo you Will only be wasting your time. I only tried after getting ed to master. You’ll be much better of learning bread and butter combos.
Let me put it this way... a true Iron player is not going to block unsafe moves and punish with normals into special cancels, they are not gonna drive rush cancel their attacks, they are not going to bait whiffs only to hit an aerial... true Iron players blindly mash buttons, they spam the same moves, they spam drive impact and they JUMP. A *LOT.* With that being said though the Dhalsim was nothing special, maybe mid gold at best
Okay gotcha. That actually makes a lot more sense. I’m planning on doing another 100 games next week and I’m actually going to try and study’s what’s safe and what’s not to hopefully get up there to gold.
@@imhitchplays Oh I forgot he was anti-airing you as well, you won't find authentic Iron players doing anti-airs except by mistake, but that Dhalsim's anti-airs were very much intentional. Also good luck on your next 100 games
thats always the trickey part. I honestly just chose ed because i played balrog in sfv and was like well he is a boxer so I might as well continue the trend. When i first started I really liked manon and akuma but it just didnt feel right. Hopefully you find your character soon!
Try out everyone's combo trials for a few minutes. See who clicks with you. If you want to play a shoto, and learn the basics, Ryu is a great starting point. Then you can fine tune it. Do you want Ryu but more offensive focused? Ken, etc. Starting out, just learn your buttons, learn your specials, and get used to the speed of playing against other people.
@@nextgencowboy thanks for the advice! I am in like gold 1-gold 2 with Ken, Chun, Aki, Cammy, and Juri. I have been struggling to find one that I can do the combos consistently with. Although Cammy does seem to be the easiest to use out of those, I like Chun Li’s style but I cannot do her stance combos to save my life lol.
@@CEIZOE Chun is a lot as a beginner in this game particularly, but you don't necessarily HAVE to start with Serenity cancels. Until you get closer to upper Plat you can ABSOLUTELY just play her like she's always been: Queen of Footsies.
Air to airs are definitely way easier to use and pick up. Even after playing having 10 years+ of SF, when SF6 first came out, air to airs were a lot easier to use to get used to the game.

That’s the spirit, in some fights you it was evident that were enjoying the game 🎉 Gratz on bronce

Ayyoo Diaphone cameo
as a plat 4 ed, it never gets easier, you just get better
also down to help or run sets if you down lol
as a master ed it very much doesnt get easier but you get better like you said and you also watch the enemy ruin themselves withy mistakes
That’s the goal !!! Thank you for watching
Thats a great way to put it.
Me screaming just block against the lilly 😂
LOL WATCHING BACK I was so frustrated while editing like man if only I just knew 🧍🏻♂️

@@Skrolll for sure !
That Dhalsim is *not* an authentic Iron player lmao no chance
The chat was saying it was a Smurf too but I wasn’t sure 😭. I really gotta learn that matchup too.

I think that’s one of my favorite things to do in this game I won’t lie
