Great video. I feel as a brit born Nigerian living and running a biz in Nigeria, I have to explain for the benefit of non Nigerians the issue of our poor maintenance culture which may go some way to explain the dirty loo. Traditionally Nigeria has major issues regarding maintenance of infrastructure. From the moment any infrastructure comes into existence in Nigeria, It begins to depreciate due to an absence of consistent maintenance and care. Cleaning toilets should be one of the most basic functions but it often needs daily management supervision to ensure its done. Even in my own business, in spite of 4 full time cleaning staff, I still have to personally supervise to ensure the toilets are kept fresh all day long. It isn't that we don't appreciate clean bathrooms, but anything that is for public use, just does not get the same level of care and attention as one might do at home. Its so easy for even the cleaning staff to cut corners unless tasks are supervised daily. If you asked them to clean the toilets today, you still need to re-issue the order the next day. Trust me. It highlights the fact that Nigeria needs a generation of competent middle managers who can supervise and educate staff on the merits of consistent maintenance of infrastructure. Which as I write has given me an idea to add this subject to my performance training curriculum. Thanks for the video Josh. I could try and explain the whole no filming thing but that could take another chapter.

Safety wise , the airplanes are very safe to fly in Nigeria. The last crash of a passenger airplane happened in 2010 which was about 12 years ago. Airlines don’t get much support from government in terms of funding so they have limited staff to handle those stuff including cleaning. Thank you for your constructive criticisms of our local airlines in Nigeria.
Lagos to Abuja by road can take from 10 to 13 hours depending on the car and if there's no traffic at some point on the road too, the driver exaggerated the Boko Haram blocking the road, I recently traveled from Lagos to Enugu and from Enugu to Abuja and the road was smooth.
I hope you review those old rickety planes that European and American Arlines use to ply the Nigerian/African routes. They send their newer and nicer planes to routes in Europe and send the old planes in their fleet to ply the Nigerian and African routes.
"Still trying to figure out whether it's a mall or an airport" killed me 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤦 I thought it was a mall was confused was lost like what do we have here where are we ?
You thought that loo was horrendous? Really? Well, I hope you never encounter a truly BAD toilet! I'm back in England, now, but in the late '70s I lived in East Africa (Kenya). My worst lavatorial experience came when I visited a hotel loo (VERY briefly) to find solid excreta on the seat, diarrhoea on the walls and floor, and over a metre of tapeworm coiled around the towel rail. Yep, that Airbus bog looks pretty darn good to me... 🤭
There are a lot of global brand name hotels in Lagos such as the Radisson/Radisson Blu, Sheraton, Marriott plus fantastic home grown brands e.g the Wheatbaker, The Nordic, Eko Hotel and endless boutique hotels both on the island and around the airport in Ikeja --- All of which will cost between $150 to $300 per night not $500 but the Airnb options are good too.
I use this particular aircraft all the time. last year was 8 flights in total and this year I have had 3 flights with it. I agree that it's an Egyptian aircraft leased to Ibom air because on several occasions I tried to use onboard wifi it appeared as Egyptian air and yes their crew is a mixture of Egyptians and Nigerians. overall I am okay with Ibom air

Nigerian RUclipsrs will easily get harassed by the security at the sight of a camera, and also they may not have as much money to self- fund these travel experiences. I don't really care who does these reviews, but the mere fact that its done, gives me all the satisfaction.

Genau das macht dich aus!!!! Weiter so mein Lieber, wünsche dir noch eine gute Zeit in Afrika, take care und ich freue mich auf weitere abenteuerliche Videos von dir.
🤙 if you’re in Nigeria 🇳🇬 again once am around we link up
Roger du kannst Nigeria besuchen wenn du willst. Kein Angst davor.
The A220 is a lovely aircraft it’s a shame this example is so dirty as for the loo WOW 😮!! Great review Josh as always 👍
nice video.. ibom air is one of the best now here in Nigeria.. Air peace sucks.. WELCOME TO NIGERIA!
you Are so kind josh keep doi,g that
Safety wise , the airplanes are very safe to fly in Nigeria. The last crash of a passenger airplane happened in 2010 which was about 12 years ago. Airlines don’t get much support from government in terms of funding so they have limited staff to handle those stuff including cleaning. Thank you for your constructive criticisms of our local airlines in Nigeria.
2012, you mean
You are a cute person tipping the drive to buy things for the kids!!
all the best my friend.
Great to see what its like to travel in Nigeria and yes the cabin is pretty disgusting, especially that loo... yuck.
U Were In My Country This Is My Favorite Airline In Nigeria Thanks For Doing A RUclips Video About It
Hi Josh, Wonderful stream. I really liked when you went to Antarctica.
nice report as usual 😎 and happy 500th flights🥳🥳🥳
I really enjoyed this video…. Safe travels God bless✈️
Well done! Nice to see some unique reviews….. 🇨🇦
Well done josh Cahill
U are doing a great job
Lagos to Abuja by road can take from 10 to 13 hours depending on the car and if there's no traffic at some point on the road too, the driver exaggerated the Boko Haram blocking the road, I recently traveled from Lagos to Enugu and from Enugu to Abuja and the road was smooth.
I like your videos. You say it how it really is. Keep it up Cahill!
I like the engines Chewbacca roars. Thx Josh. Always a pleasure to watch your vlogs. Maurice from France 🇫🇷
Am definitely taking Ibom Air next after the delays on Air peace on my debut flight Abuja Lagos- Abuja
You are the most positive and polite and humorous foreigner I've seen in Nigeria👍
4:25 finally an airport that offers practical cars as prizes.
😂😂😂 The cars are for display.
Haven't heard of or see anyone win a car there.
I hope you review those old rickety planes that European and American Arlines use to ply the Nigerian/African routes. They send their newer and nicer planes to routes in Europe and send the old planes in their fleet to ply the Nigerian and African routes.
Still probably better than the competition that’s local to the continent.
@@Horizon301. you can’t be too sure. Nigerian airlines have newer planes in their fleet.
Im Nigerian and thanks for raising awareness.. Appreciate you
You know your negotiations well. Nigerians would quote any price. I'm happy you negotiated.
Hey Josh, hope you a great time in Nigeria. Be wary those taxi drivers like to tax foreigners. I grew up in Nigeria so this video was a delight
"Still trying to figure out whether it's a mall or an airport" killed me 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤦 I thought it was a mall was confused was lost like what do we have here where are we ?
U drunk ..
Omg🤣🤣😭😭
He's campraing it to other airline loos, not your nightmare hotel experience.
Here's to the next 500 flights Josh. Congrats.
I enjoyed watching this 🇳🇬
There are a lot of global brand name hotels in Lagos such as the Radisson/Radisson Blu, Sheraton, Marriott plus fantastic home grown brands e.g the Wheatbaker, The Nordic, Eko Hotel and endless boutique hotels both on the island and around the airport in Ikeja --- All of which will cost between $150 to $300 per night not $500 but the Airnb options are good too.
That's really traveling, Josh. Great video.
Awesome video. Well done on filming in very challenging circumstances!
*Congrats Josh on flight 500! May I suggest flight 1,000 be with SpaceX!*
No loo review... lol
Thanks for these videos. About time.
Well Nigeria does have a persistent and unresolved hygiene issue in many aspects of life. Josh's discovery should come as no surprise.
@Josh have a safe and clean journey whilst in Nigeria.
Nice negotiation skills for the taxi, also cool to see how different Abuja airport looks since 2017
We have new airbuses now, do well to come around and fly with us again.
Dude’s balls of steel are shined up and ready to go early in Nigeria 🇳🇬. Way outta my comfort zone, lol 😂
What a nice driver😊
Congrats on yoy 500yh flight !!!! awesome channel and videos about traveling Africa... Greetings!!
I’m really enjoying your African adventures Josh ❤️
Excelent video. I like your travel in Africa. Greetings from Costa Rica
Love it. Thanks for keeping it real
If ever you come to Cameroon, you will find the same sorts of restrictions on taking pictures and videos, especially around government installations
Your presentation is highly interesting to watch. Thank you very much and take care.
I like your channel. I love your honesty . Keep up the good work.
You should do a flight review on American Eagle new service from Miami to Dominica. Its the first time Dominica has a regular service to mainland U.S.A. Loved the live entertainment in baggage claim.
My parents from Dominica 🇩🇲 that would be so kool.
That is the first restroom I have ever seen on an aircraft that has a window.
Good analysis Josh.... You are one of the best aviaition vloggers, very sincere, honest and blunt and nonsense in terms of your aviation review
I appreciate that! Thanks for your feedback.
U are welcome
Been waiting for this!
This is what Nigerian RUclipsrs should be doing, but they behave like people who have cameras but don't know what to do with them.
Politicians have destroyed Nigeria, but continue to deceive many with lies from the pit of hell as days go by.
Kudos to you gentlemen, you're doing a great job.
Nigerian RUclipsrs will easily get harassed by the security at the sight of a camera, and also they may not have as much money to self- fund these travel experiences. I don't really care who does these reviews, but the mere fact that its done, gives me all the satisfaction.
Please dont critic the Loo, i love these people from Africa always dancing and having a free talk and sometimes commanding and stressing people at the airport. I love it.
Omgosh. Congrats 500 flights ✈️!
Hi Josh, you should have just used Bolt from Abuja Airport to town, it costs #4,500 on the App.
No mind the mumu
@@andrewudopeters3080 which one is mumu,as if he is conversant with better alternatives🙄🙄
@@trulyhappened521 what better alternatives???? He is running your country down and de-marketing the potential and truth about my country and you are here supporting crap cause "IT" is white. I bet if a Nigerian said the same thing in global space you'd react differently or maybe not, I've had international business partners tell me they're looking forward to riding elephants and living in huts but are not eager to have thousands of flies perch on them when they come down to Nigeria. Due to "mumu's like this who misinform the world about my great country
Love the honesty bruh!
Nice thank you for recording the A220 howl 🤩
That driver is right, the roads are unsafe because of kidnapping which happens once in a while. Road travels used to be so much fun but now it’s a gamble.
If there’s any need they will call for you 🤦🏽♀️ just give a description to the visitor. Eish!
Yes we have a lot of languages in Nigeria.
I will give you six thousand Naira 😂 who taught you to bargain?
What an honest review! I didn’t want the vide to end 😂🙈
Came here from Blessing’s channel and I’m now one of your subscribers 🎉
Congrats on your 500th flight!
Sad to see how dirty our A220s end up looking. Wish that this operator gave it a little more TLC…
YOu know Life must be incredible exhausting in Nigeria if even travel with airplane is exhausting.
Great to see you in Nigeria josh
