It’s tough to see how quickly the Red Sox fell off after their World Series, but losing Betts was a HUGE blow. He’s looked better since going to L.A. than me and many other people even expected...
@@TheSportReel I'm very happy for Mookie. He is as good of a person off the field as he is a player on the field. I agree, I thought it would take him a good chunk of the season to get used to National League pitching, etc. As far as the Sox. I had a feeling this was going to happen immediately when Dombrowski was hired. I never liked that hire. He destroyed the farm system and made too many "quick fix" deals instead of building a team/organization for long-term success.
The sox are still good. Y'all still got xman and rafael devers and verdugo looks like he's going to be a good player and fun to watch. It just sucks they weren't able to give mookie a long term deal.
@Tim Antoine Same here! Its strange watching them this year without him....well, thats when they are worth watching this year. I'm as big of a Sox fan as there is, but they aren't fun to watch, at least so far
@@MajorChipHazard16 Yeah, I hear ya. Xman and Devers are solid for sure and Verdugo has been a pleasant surprise, but I've had a difficult time watching the team as a whole play this season so far. I'm glad Mookie is having a decent start to his Dodgers career, it sucks the Sox wouldn't pay him. Dombrowski totally f'd things up for the Sox
