Thank you so much for this visualization of "skipping" the stitches for the arm holes. I'm currently working on a pattern that asked me to skip 58 stitches and I was so confused. I don't know why but for the life of me I just could not understand what it meant. Watching this video made it so easy for me to understand! It instantly clicked in my brain on what I needed to do!
.i was struggling for the past 2 weeks with a raglan sweater because i didn`t like how it look the stitch from the middle of the back, i saw some tutorials and it looks awful BUT today i learn how to join together the back part and still this stitch to look beautiful and not so visible ! thank you darling ! 🥰
Happy to help! 🥰 The slant join line is kind of unavoidable when working in rounds. So another thing you can do is work in rows, as in join in round, and then turn and work in the opposite direction.
I tried this 4 times and they always come out uneven. The first three I figured out why (1st I did not follow correctly where to sc the inc, 2nd I did slip stitch on wrong stitch, 3rd I slip stitched on first stitch of every round), but this time I may have repeated my 2nd attempt but confirmed it correct as the video and it still came out uneven. The incs when layed flat folded dont line up.
yaaay 😁 i did it, took me two days to complete. my niece so in 🥰 with it. the way you make the beginning dc, the result looks way much better. thank you for the tutorial. can't wait to make another. 💙🤗
This was my first crochet jumper and it worked perfectly! I started with a foundation chain so the neck was a bit more stretchy, and also reduced stitches on the last row of the sleeves so they weren't so loose. Im so please. Thank you for the tutorial ♡
I've just finished my raglan striped cardigan from your tutorial as well and now I can't wait to do this one 🥹🫶🏼 I just want to know - are you turning your work after the round or just continuing?
Omg I wish I saw your tutorial first. I chained a 100 and thought it’ll come together. Well fast forward 1 hr of me making the neck ribbing… it was more of a waistline ribbing🤦
Idk if my brain is just dumb but I’ve spent an hour trying to understand your maths on the very first step…are you putting the stitch marker into the 8th stitch or the 9th stitch? I’m going insane
Why aren’t the places I’m increasing lining up when I fold it? Is it cuz I did in using single crochet? Also can I still slip stitch in the first when I Fuentes the round?
Hi! I’m having some issues with it at original chain length 96 I was wondering if you could help. The lengths should be 16 and 30 for the sides then but when I do the math I end up at 92 not 96, should I crochet 1-15 and then lengthen at 16? And then similarly length at 32 62 and 78 rather than 31 61 and 77? Thanks! I’m super excited for this pattern for warm fall sweaters
Hi there! I experienced the same thing! I re-did the chain 6 times to realise, I got it all wrong. I am not sure how I can better explain, but i hope this helps! count , , , , , , It should bring you right back to the first. Hope this helps! Happy crocheting!
This pattern did not work for me. I'm a medium-large and 9 rows in it is clear that this pattern is not getting large enough for my shoulders fast enough
i’ve done the beginning of this video with the stitch markers exactly how you said 5 different times and it’s still not right. there’s gotta be an easier way😭😭
wow, such a beautiful pattern, especially the way you make beginning double crochet ♡ hmm, may i know how many yards of yarn did you use to making this sweater?
Yeah, it doesn't say on the label. I would say it's weight 4 even though it's as thin as weight 3, just because of its texture and the larger hook size (6 mm) it calls for, but I really love this yarn, so comfy! 😆
Mine is also slightly slant but the first dc trick hides the seam better. Alternatively, you can turn your work after every round, that way your seam would be straight.

One of the best crochet tutorials I’ve watched. I learned a lot, this explained exactly what I wanted to know about raglan patterns. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! 😊😊

Luckily find a best video to knit my own sweater in easy wy ❤😊
Great tutorial. I'm definitely adopting the way you make your beginning double crochet. It looks so much better. Thank you!
Thank you! I’m glad you found that useful 🥰
what a super idea to tie under the sleeves to see if the fit is good. thank you so much for this tutorial !
Thank you for commenting! 🥰
Very clearly explained and easy to see. It is where to separate the arm that I will need to get correct. Thanks
Best tutorial for a single piece raglan style
Thanks so much! 🥰
Can we have a tutorial on a cardigan in single piece? Without sewing?
@@KanikaSud There’s already one on the channel: Easy Crochet Cardigan Sweater V-neck (No Sewing!)

Oh I see it! Love the colors ☺️
I've just finished my raglan striped cardigan from your tutorial as well and now I can't wait to do this one 🥹🫶🏼
I just want to know - are you turning your work after the round or just continuing?
Hi! I continued in the same direction. The join is not completely straight but the stacked up scs as the first dc trick hides it pretty well.
Such a cute sweater ❤️
Thank you so much!
omg its so pretty ♥
Thanks so much! 🥰

Bottom up can work too! If you haven’t ripped it, you just need to find a bottom up reglan style tutorial! ☺️

As far as I can remember, 9th. Sorry about the confusion!
@@CherilynQ it’s okay! i got it in the end! Making a pink and brown one xx
Hiii, I love this project and I want to try to make it myself. I have a question though: what's the total yarn lenght you used? Thanks in advance 💗
Hi! Thank you! I used 404 g of this yarn, converted to length is a bit more than 440 m 😊

ماذا افعل؟

I’d need to see it but sounds like you increased at the wrong spot? Changing it to SC or slip stitching to join the round shouldn’t be the reason.
That was exactly it thank you sm for responding!
No worries! Glad you figured it out.

Have in mind this : for a sweater with long sleeves you need between 450- 500-600gr.of yarn 😊

What type of the yarn you use in the video? It looks good i wanna try it😃
Thanks for asking! I used Anette Eriksson XL Eco Cotton
