I live in Italy, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, between the Isonzo and the Carso. The stereotype of pizza in 1915 is so sad....but on the other hand, in my country there are bridges, monuments or churches that are older than the entire American history....On the Carso there are rare olive trees that are older years of American history...

There’s a game that I really like that I wish had this. It’s a game where you basically own a tank factory that you just build a tanks in and you have like figure out which tanks are going to be better in the next year or all of that.

Practicality and objectivity of the actual machine aside; does anyone else want to see an injection-molded, 1/35th scale model kit produced of the Fiat 2000? So far, the only kits I found online are either cast resin or 3D Printed, and cost around $80.00 - $100.00. I'd like to see either Tamiya or Italeri make a good, basic affordable ($40.00 range) model of the Fiat 2000, and leave it to the aftermarket companies to provide interior and extras. I'd definitely like one of these in my collection! Thanks for sharing. My Like is in the 3Ks

Well done Simple History, well done. I truly appreciate that you've included my country's tank(i'm Italian) and talked about it in full detail. It may have been forgotten but it truly was innovative in its own regard. I loved especially the part where the second prototype shot that fake pinapple pizza. Your thumbnail was absolutely fantastic and exhilarating especially with the R2-D2 style turret and the guy yelling "shut up!" in a thick Italian accent.
Flag on the thumbnail should probably be a little more red. It looks like the Irish flag at the moment. Extra point if you add the crown and blue-bordered cross for historical accuracy.
My grandfather was a fiat 3000 tank driver, during ww2. And he remembered it as an awful place. There were like 50 C inside the tank, and there was this awful smell of fuel and gasses, and even if he was the driver, he could barely see a thing of the outside of the tank! And the worse of the worse was the hunger they lived. They literally had nothing to eat, expect for some very, VERY poor rations (sometimes) and some cactus fleas, if they were lucky to find them. He died before i was born, so all this stories were taught to me from my father. I just wish i was born early to see him...
A lot of people disagree with me when I say it's sad that rare or prototype vehicles get scrapped. It's important to know and understand the past so we can understand why things are the way the are in the present. AFVs and other vehicles are a part of that I believe.
That's also something hardly known and also can still think of the saying my grandparents are faster than this thing along with tanks of that era still ringing true.
I had a chance to see the replica moving... You guys just have no idea how BIG that monster is.😮 They told me they also had to design a special trailer to transport it, otherwise it would hit almost every highway bridge.

It was Incredibly slow, it had an excessively large crew and it didn’t have very good armor which means it’s not a good tank
