I'm really glad they gave Hail/Snow the effect of boosting Defence, similar to Sandstorm. Didn't realise how much of an absolute monster that makes Cloyster in the intro. Can it learn Body Press yet?!
Love to see you branching out! I don’t remember seeing you running too many many hail teams in the past and figured you weren’t the biggest fan of them. Glad to see you running snow!
Haydunn keeps saying you won’t regret following him. I’m here to tell you you will. Dude is far too entertaining. Constantly watching him as I work. Such a massive distraction. I regret following him for that.
@shivernaut9884 yeah I agree, honestly the hail chip was more of a pain than a help. I guess they could have expanded to other types being unaffected (water and fire?) but I'm not sad to see it go
Seems like hail damage would be more powerrful because only ice types are immune. Sure you can build a team around sandstorm but that means a lot of your oppoents being ground, rock or steel would also be immune or even benefit from it.
I play too many games in general to keep up with every Gen of Pokémon but I love to watch crazy builds like this! Definitely hit that subscribe button!
5:50 @Haydunn you could have used destiny bond, it would have been the perfect time. They are faster and you know they were goiing to use aurora veil, so if you use destiny bond, the next turn they go before you and chances are the opposing trainer forgets how it works and kills Delibird. Then destiny bond will activate because Delibird hasn't taken a turn yet since the last destiny bond! Or at the very least, the ninetales can't kill you that turn and you get a free turn out of it, wasting a turn of aurora veil.
These close matches are always fun to watch. Was feeling nostalgic and listened to the old pokemon cyphers on shofu's channel. I forgot you were on them. Hope you are doing well.
Yo my favorite joke was delibird delivering the Amazon packages to the opponents side of the field. Got me chocking on laughter at churches chicken 😂😂😂
I never see any trick room teams in singles, and would like to see what you could do with them. Something like Vikavolt, Iron Hands, or Houndstone as the main benefactor, and Galarian Slowking to set up.
I'm new to Pokemon competitive, your videos are actually kind of teaching me new stuff! Idk if this comment will even be seen or acknowledged but I'd love to see if you can do something with Altaria!
cetitan with Sheer Force with life orb hit like a truck. i used him in the first few season. everyone thought he was a tank, and then a playrough i hit ko dragons.
5:15 THAT'S why you called it Prime? XDD She's thick as store-bought gravy, I gotta use that some time. XD Oh my gosh, what an amazing Brainwash! Aw, lots of poffins for that one.
@@nickb6425 Exactly! At first, I was like "why is it called Prime? Tis the season? Delibird is Little Z's mascot so it can't be because-" and then it CLICKED. XD
Hi Hayden - question, could delibird not have used rapid spin on alolan ninetales the turn it used Aurora Veil, raised its speed then used destiny bond the next turn? or would ninetales still have outsped? Thanks.
Hail got changed to snow in gen 9 Instead of chipping non-ice type pokemon at the end of every turn, it now boost all ice types physical defense by 50%
Snow makes Blizzard never miss. It ignores the hit rate check all together. Ice Beam is just a safe way to have damage if you lose the Snow. Hail also made it never miss. It's better that 100% as it bypasses the check for the hit rate.
question, 1) does Teraing to water type remove an ice type's 50% defense boost in snow? 2) if non-ice 'mon Teras into an ice-type, do they get the 50% defense boost in snow?
Couldn't you have rapid spin'd with delibird against A Ninetails the first turn so you would have out speed and then used destiny bond the next turn when you were faster?
Bruh, how did they make that aurora veil misplay? You can so easily check the active battle states and effects in gen 9. Like you literally did it after the misplay showing that exact screen. All the shenanigans got your opponent acting unwise lol.
Also, i could be wrong, but does Destiny Bond still work if you use it 2nd? Like, i could've sworn that if you were slower and used destiny bond, if the opponent knocked them out the turn afterwards, they'd still go down since the last move used was destiny bond
Cetitan’s cry is definitely one of the best from Gen 9.
Also Orthoworm
Freaking agreed lmao
I think skeledirge has to be up there ☝️😮
I love Klawf 😂 RAAAAAAAAR
@@wgt7537 "Roooooooouuuuk!!"
Honestly the thing I look forward to more than anything with Haydunn’s videos are the creative names he comes up with for his Pokémon
Same, so good haha
Always happy to see the OG delibird snag a kill.
It’s an 1/1000000 chance that it’s “useful “ I once killed a delibird with a magikarp💀
I'm really glad they gave Hail/Snow the effect of boosting Defence, similar to Sandstorm. Didn't realise how much of an absolute monster that makes Cloyster in the intro. Can it learn Body Press yet?!
Wouldnt that make it the mon with highest defense
Dire Claw sounds like the name of a Ben 10 alien lol

What a great match! Nice new team Haydunn, always fun to watch especially when you use new teams!
Snow Teams are so sick
Sandstorm both does dmg, and boosts rock type SpDef. I never understood why they took the dmg away from hail when its counterpart still does it
Maybe because since ice types were the only type immune to the damage it made building snow teams way more restrictive.
@shivernaut9884 yeah I agree, honestly the hail chip was more of a pain than a help. I guess they could have expanded to other types being unaffected (water and fire?) but I'm not sad to see it go

OR he could've used Rapid Spin turn 1 so Delibird was faster on turn 2 and THEN use Destiny Bond for that surprise kill.
I reckon they'd know how Destiny Bond worked and just switch around it. Rapid Spin would've been a cool play though.
I doubt they would expect it tho, not many people run Delibird or know what it does.
These close matches are always fun to watch. Was feeling nostalgic and listened to the old pokemon cyphers on shofu's channel. I forgot you were on them. Hope you are doing well.
Cetitan is litterally wild! ❤ I love using this mon so glad you messed with it!
Im loving the new thumbs
Awesome video, this one really came right down to the wire.
OMG "Delibird to Amazon Prime deliver these hands the next day" had me cracking up 😆😆😆
I'm new to your videos but I'm absolutely loving them.
Pauls supervillain arc!
getting up spikes is always poggers, I do think rapid spin into dbond could have been really cool too

At 6:10 rip that rapid spin to be faster next turn and D-Bond. Word of the wise✊
6:25 you could rapid spin when knowing they about to setup veil and desriny bond after
She THICC like store bought gravy 🫡🤣🤣
Amazing one liners as always bro!
Cristian is sooo cute I hope it’s get an alternate evolution in future games that’s a special attacker with a niche ability alongside Snow.

great battle. Love big bertha. Cetitan is so cool
Man i'd likee to see a sandstorm team work! That would be a cool thing to watch
fantastic vid, per usual!
i used cetitan and obamasnow before home in doubles. that team tore through the common metagame in random online battles like no tomorrow
This was a fun quick game.

That’s what I came into the comment section for, I was going to say the same thing.
Your pokemon's nicknames are amazing.

As thicc as store brought gravy 😂😂😂
Dude with a shiny Kuraidon in the back xD
Delibird, hell yeah.
I'd love to see you do some doubles too ❤
I did not regret to subscribe!! Very cool content.
Delibird should've gone for Rapid Spin + Destiny Bond against the Ninetales
Ok might be a dumb question but how did the opponent have a shiny koraidon in their trainer ID card thing at the end there???
The opp with a shiny koraidon in their trainer card. Hackin ass lmao
If you can use cacturne on a team i will drink milk
300K ez bro
You should do the golduck simple beam strat but do harsh sun growth. +4 in sp atk and atk in one turn is crazy
Snow should make water moves become physical ice attacks.
That would be pretty cool
Huh never thought of using slush rush... I tend to rather wanted to use thick fat and assault vest
Great battle😊
You should've named the Abomasnow MegaWheat instead. It's a *big* part of a whole family's balanced breakfast. lmao
That name is reserved for Mega Abomasnow. Duh.

Instead of chipping non-ice type pokemon at the end of every turn, it now boost all ice types physical defense by 50%
I would name the Delibird "Ama Prime" instead of just "Prime". That would communicate more that its Amazon Prime imo.
Snow mechanic is way better now
how acrobatic was super effective? when abo is ice and grass it should be neutral since ice stronger then fly and fly stronger then grass
dire claw having 80 base power is so fucking wild and inconsistent with the other PLA moves at 65. 80 BP stab with a random 17% chance to sleep????
And that's why ya boi was banned to Ubers. 😂
Love ya videos 🔥🔥
I want to ask , why wouldn't you use destiny bond on delibird and use spike instead ?
Dire Claw is giving status problems cuz its claw is dirty of bloodstain 😂
Would rapid spin have made you faster than ANinetails to get the DBond off with Delibird?
Thick as store bought gravy 😮💨
Illegal koraidon in the background
Curious about ice beam instead of blizzard on G. Slowking. I've been out of Pokémon for awhile, does snow still give 100% accurate blizzards?
Snow makes Blizzard never miss. It ignores the hit rate check all together. Ice Beam is just a safe way to have damage if you lose the Snow. Hail also made it never miss. It's better that 100% as it bypasses the check for the hit rate.
hey hayden, did you choose icicle crash over ice spinner for the flinch chance?
