I believe that Mamoru's pants are grey not purple but omg I totally agree with you that the Tuxido mask outfit isn't that flattering, though I personally think its his mask, the tuxido is fine. The mask ruins the outfit because its colour doesn't go that well with the rest of the outfit and it doesn't fit to his face in a flattering way. Anyway congratulation for your new subscribers❤️

Aaaaah finally someone who made a good job with Sailor Moon fashion!! It seems like they always miss the point in the fashion of the show and what the characters would wear, I just don't understand why make a styling video if you basically don't know anything about the show besides 2 pinterest aesthetic screens. It's such a shame, I wish SM was seen as a gemstone of a show instead of just cute aesthetic and that people would give it a chance and watch the anime or read the manga. You did an astonishing job with SM, I entirely agree with every single character, and as for Mamoru, I think he would also be wearing asymetric coloured sweaters like his weird tee-shirt. I also agree he's such an awful guy lol, I wish he was more kind with Usagi, they did him so dirty in the anime. It would have been interesting if you had taken some fashion inspiration from the manga as well, I don't know if you read it but the fashion sense is great and changes quite a bit from the anime!
You are definitely right, this show has a lot to offer visually, it’s on another level of artistically well put together (not just the outfits but the entire world). Mamoru gets better but still haha I’ll talk about it in the retrospect video. I’ll look into the manga as well, I did however take Naoko’s sketches of characters in consideration as well🥰 rei is super different from manga as well, but I think it was done for the dynamic of the group in the show(also will talk about it in the vid) And also I’m glad you enjoyed the styling, I really appreciate someone who knows SM liking it too😌

There actually is a live action sailor moon show! It’s called pretty guardian sailor moon (pgsm) in the 2000s and the styling is sooo good especially with the transformations and the villains! It also has a really cool story that diverges from both the 90s sailor moon and the manga with a pretty cool twist villain! I definitely recommend if want more sailor moon content as well as a more y2k reimagining of sailor moon!
Girl, the part you talked about the dark version of the characters... so true?! Like, I don't know how this works, but there's something about seeing some good character in dark aesthetics... For me "dark versions" in girly shows is a MUST HAVE clihe, I mean: Dark Bloom (Winx), Black Lady... and there's the shadow ghouls of Monster High 13 wishes movie, if you haven't seen this before you should search for it, I'm sure you gonna like it!

i think the main reason why usagi was such a crybaby was because she was so young, i mean she was like 14-16 right? around there i don't remember lol but she was not as experienced with fighting and all this like rei and also just her character was very emotional, its understandable since shes a kid but yeah i agree it was very annoying, to me it was like watching my little siblings 🤦🏻♀️

So not sure if its been said, but the Moonlight Knight's outfit is most likely based on an early tokusatsu hero, Moonlight Mask, which debuted in 1958. Moonlight Knight's outfit is VERY similar to Moonlight Mask and I think its pretty safe to say it was both a homage and play on the fact that Moonlight Mask has moon and mask in the name. ^^
Yeah I saw pics from it, it’s super faithful to the original in terms of their sailor outfits but I would choose a different type of materials and such even for the sailor outfits

Well, I don't really agree with you saying that Usagi just cry in the middle of the battle and doesn't do anything cause after all SHE IS sailor moon, the strongest when it comes to power, and actually Usagi can be really strong and mature too. It's just that her first intention when something bad happens is to cry, but that doesn't make her weak. Of course thanks to her friends she gets even stronger and stronger but yeah, I just wanted to point out this. Also I haven't think till now that I would like Rei's fashion that much!! Sailor Moon actually does have a live action remake, but it was made somewhere in the 2000s so it didn’t have the best fashion choices
Yeah I saw pics from it, it’s super faithful to the original in terms of their sailor outfits but I would choose a different type of materials and such even for the sailor outfits

Well, I don't really agree with you saying that Usagi just cry in the middle of the battle and doesn't do anything cause after all SHE IS sailor moon, the strongest when it comes to power, and actually Usagi can be really strong and mature too. It's just that her first intention when something bad happens is to cry, but that doesn't make her weak. Of course thanks to her friends she gets even stronger and stronger but yeah, I just wanted to point out this.
Also I haven't think till now that I would like Rei's fashion that much!! And Makoto's too! Thanks for this video, obviously it took you time and effort
I still love usagi, don’t get me wrong hehe and the whole point is that she’s fighting with love instead of just fighting for the sake of fighting, I think it’s mostly the issue with the show’s pacing and how long they give some scenes vs others ahah

I usually search for them on pinterest or just google stuff. it's hard to find specifically what I'm looking for usually though, bc most images that come up first are not what I want, but those are the two search engines I use to find things!
