- Retail theft bust in Stockton: A man was arrested in Stockton after California Highway Patrol officials searched a home and found approximately $1 million in allegedly stolen merchandise.
Officials say they searched the home in the 400 block of Berrendo Lane in Stockton after information led them to believe it was being used as a "fence" to buy stolen merchandise and resell it.

With community service.Anotherwords if you steal $1.00 you do one hour of community service.Over $250. Felony. Automatic 1 year in jail.
