Totally agree. This was my 2nd Chain show, as a SoCal kid, but the kids today do their little windmill things, which I DON’T understand. The pit was always about collective energy, not stand-alone expression of self.
I love both. It depends on the vibe. Heavier hardcore I’m all for it and think it can be awesome and super stylistic, but when it comes to bands that are faster and sound like this it annoys me to no end. Hc has evolved and there’s space for both.
