I had recently purchased qw787 but there were problems like thrustlivers are always in to/ga but there is no response the aircraft does not move the engine indications are showing idle power and autopilot is not working , airspeed strip don't move at all
Are all the displays touch screens, or is it only the lower and inboard displays? Since the outboard displays are pretty much uncustomizable, are they touch screens as well?
Fahad Al-Riyami on the inboard and lower displays are considered multi function displays. And only multifunction displays CAN have displays that allow for interaction with the cursor. To be clear, the screens on the real 787 are not touchscreen. You use a device called a ‘cursor control device (CCD)’ to move a cursor around. We just didn’t like the idea of simulating moving a mouse cursor on the CCD while you use your own mouse cursor
I’ve been flying the 787 for a while . Unfortunately, everytime I take off . My engine goes idle. I’ve had this problem before w FSX but ignored. I’ve stalled and crashed on take off while on Vatism and I couldn’t take it anymore. You know how to fix this , please reply.
Are you leaving the physical throttle in idle after hitting TOGA? Once you get around V1 it switches to HOLD and if you’ve left the throttle at idle it will roll the thrust back.
AFP557 not sure what you’re trying to do here. Can you better elaborate on how you’re trying to fly this aircraft using the traditional course deviation information on older planes? VOR flying is still possible using the navigation display but no you can’t see that info on the mini map
Bernardo Reis not sure what you mean by accurate. The fonts are based on the 787 font but certain concessions were made to ensure proper readability. For instance in some areas fonts were increased in size to ensure they can be read.
Maybe that's it. What I meant it's that by looking at the PFD, the fonts don't feel and look like the ones when you take a look at a picture of a 787 PFD. The same goes for the EICAS.
