Where are the missions stored and how can we move them to another device? In a bit of testing with 2 devices, they seem to be sored on the device, as they are not visible on another device when I connect it in. Are there any files that can be moved between devices to move missions? I may plan with a larger device than I fly with. Thank you.
and while you're at it please make iPhone app capable of 100% viewfinder display instead of cropping off top and bottom of image. Toggle between current cropping full screen view and a black barred 100% view. Also fix the grid lines so in current cropped mode the correctly aligned to the actual corners of the image, not the corners of the iPhone display.
Thank you for the video. I recently used this to assist in a SAR mission but ran into an issue. The terrain was rough, and I could not define varying heights and could not use some imagery due to either being too high or too low compared to the initial photo captures. Will Autel integrate with Pix4D, DroneDeploy, or add the ability to vary altitude based on terrain? Thanks in advance.
As of now Autel has still not made terrain following possible. I'm a surveyor and I need my drone to take photos from approximately the same distance above the ground. I don't want the GSD (ground sample distance) to vary too much. Makes some photos lousy. Any solution found yet?
Hello. Feature: The mission planner is good. But... It is necessary that it be possible to change the "Start" and "End" points of the mission. Often the dots are placed incorrectly - in a more time-consuming way. It is very inconvenient that when the signal is lost, the drone puts an end not to the last photo, but to the place where it lost the signal. Why didn't they make the drone take information about its automatic mission from the coordinates recorded in the last photo of the mission. This will be more correct and will allow you to correctly complete the mission to the end. Also, when you set the mission in the direction of 90 degrees (for example), after the correction, the directions also change to 0 degrees and need to be corrected again. This is also inconvenient. There is another question. How to make the drone not return after the remote control signal is lost, but continue to perform an automatic mission?
Yes! You will be prompted with a notification the next time you open the Mission Planner that has the option to continue where you left off. Hope this helps!
Autel please fix it so I can hand launch without having to use boat mode. Please can you also fix the sensitivity of obstacle avoidance? It is way too sensitive. Thanks, I think your drone are really nice, looking forward to see what you will release next.
No video recording, rotation possibility, altitude changing, zoom adjusting for the each waypoint. No terrain follow. Impossible to plan on pc (excluding phone display grabber). Lot of problems. Please do something with it.
It is possible to rotate the rectangular pattern 90 degrees solely for efficiency to reduce the number of direction reversals. But it seems that polygons are locked into eastwest as the primary directions of travel for course legs. Unfortunate.
What does the "Auto" switch do in the "Course Angle" selection? Does it account for wind direction? Thanks in Advance. I also wish you would put in an option where you have an option to fly Parallel to course ie always in one cardinal direction so when I find targets in Pix4D for ground control points they are easier to find. I am flying an Autel Evo 2 Pro and have come over from DJI. So far I really love the drone. The only problem I have had so far is a little bit of yaw on the aircraft when pushing straight forward on the flight stick. I have calibrated the controller and I calibrate the aircraft before every flight. It doesn't happen all of the time it is just sporadic.
Autel how about a global shutter for mapping? I have a few drones and keep going back to my phantom 4 pro. When comparing quality reports in Pix4d I find the p4p better than my Mavic 2 pro and Autel evo 2 pro. The orthomosaic is not as nice looking though.
Hi - Thanks for the great product... Looking at purchasing one....What happens when the battery runs down during a mission? - Does the mission pause and allow continuing once a battery is replaced?
I'd like to see videos where you communicate more frequently about the status of your product and availability. I know these are difficult times but you folks are a tech company with tech staff who can produce simple videos at home and upload them to the channel to let your customers know you are still making drones and not going out of business. I think the specs on the EVO II Pro are impressive as heck and would consider getting one but your disappearing act makes me worry you won't be around to support it in the future.
@@AutelRobotics Thank you for responding and taking the suggestion in the spirit it is intended. Looking forward to the new content and hope you folks thrive - it would be good for all the drone folks out there if DJI had a very serious competitor. :)
I am loving my Evo 2 pro it's my first drone I am still learning to fly it. If possible you answer me how to turn on led light under the evo . Thank you
Hi Elvis, glad you're enjoying the Evo II Pro! To turn on the Auxiliary Bottom Light, access the Settings panel in the Autel Explorer App. Controls for the light can be found under the Visual Navigation panel. Hope this helps!
Whilst the Rectangle and Polygon Missions are good for still images the fact that you cannot record video instead of taking still images is a glaring omission. There are Survey as well as Search and Rescue jobs that require the recording of video where the Rectangle and Polygon Missions would be ideal. Unfortunately it means until the recording of video is supported in Rectangle and Polygon Missions having to continue to use DJI equipment, which is a great pity.
After completing the rectangular mission, I have a problem with stitching the photos, which program is the most suitable or autel explorer can do the stitch itself. I can't stitch with photoshop photomerge
Are there plans to fix the Mission Planner for EVO 1? Currently, the overlap does not change when mission height is changed. What I mean is that if I plan a rectangular mission at a certain height and overlap setting (eg 60%), then I increase the height, the overlap percentage should increase, OR, the distance between the opposing legs of the mission should increase (and there will be fewer waypoints), because the higher the drone, the larger area covered by a single photo, so if there’s no change in the distance between the opposing legs of the flight, then the photos will have a higher percentage of overlap. Currently, for EVO 1, if I increase the height of a rectangular mission, the overlap percentage stays the same and there’s no change in the distance between the opposing legs of the mission and the amount of waypoints stays exactly the same. This is not how it should work. This works as should be expected for EVO 2 Mission Planner, but not EVO 1misdion Planner. Please fix it for EVO 1 As far as I can tell, It is a case of some math in the code being wrong. If there’s some technical reason for this not being possible for EVO 1 due to hardware, then I’d love to hear it, but to me it seems like a case of bad math in the code for EVO 1’s Mission Planner. Any feedback from Autel on this would be appreciated. Even just an acknowledgement that it will be planned for a future update. Currently, I’ve asked about this a few times, either via RUclips or via the contact form on the Autel website, but no feedback at all. Surely this cannot be too difficult to fix, especially if it already works fine for EVO 2’s Mission Planner. This tells me the math error was not made when writing the code for that.

Can i use this app with Autel Evo Lite + ?
I would like to be able to plan a mission on a desktop PC or laptop and then transfer it to the Evo.😀
