    Hello, thank you very much for the explanation, what should we do so that it does not stop at each point?

    Can you explain how the altitude setting relative to ground under 1st point works? When I export my KML using that setting the flight plan does not line up with the Geoid in Google Earth, but when I export using AMSL, the elevations look correct. Does it all depend on your takeoff location?

    Hello, is it possible to ensure that the drone does not stop at each waypoint?

  • @dee1251

    I’m new to photogrammetry and I would like to get into the business using drones. I do own a 5” freestyle fpv drone currently so I know a bit about drones. My questions are
    1. Which drone do I need to purchase and is it easier and cheaper if I build my own? Is there a specific size I should build to carry a specific payload such as a good camera? Maybe a 7” build? Or just buy a dji inspire or m300?
    2. Which camera is good for photogrammetry and should I pick one that’s not too heavy ?
    3. Which software should I purchase and how to utilize this software? Any tutorials out there ?
    4. How do I convert the images or results into a drawing showing grades ? Do I need to import ti software like autocad or revit ? Are there any tutorials on how to do this?

    Can you show how to import kml file into autel smart controller?

    • @kristapsbrass9154
      @kristapsbrass9154 2 года назад

      You should be able to do that by connecting the Autel smart controller to the PC via a USB-C cable.

    • @patricksproperties671
      @patricksproperties671 Год назад

      If you email the kml file to yourself and open your email on the smart controller, it will download automatically and then you can just click on it and it’ll open in the program. Word of caution though the file size can’t be much larger than 6 or 7kb otherwise the program will crash.

    So just updated to 4.16 and I do not see any ability to change export formats as you describe -no options to change format and altitude settings in the Export Mission from the mission planner. Thoughts? What am I missing here?

    • @JoshGreenberg-x2z
      @JoshGreenberg-x2z Год назад +1

      Disregard, user error, For anyone else making same mistake the export is from the route planner export option, not the main menu.

      @@JoshGreenberg-x2z Hi, exactly, this is still available but you need to use "Export route" option (available from route cards).

    Hello
    Your program will support mission planning for Autel Evo 2 v2 RTK?

    • @alexeiyankelevich1793
      @alexeiyankelevich1793 3 года назад

      Yes, it supports export of a KML to Autel Explorer format

    • @sphengineering
      @sphengineering  3 года назад

      Yes, it is possible to create a route in UgCS desktop and export as .kml. Then import the route into Autel Explorer mobile application.

      Hi, Autel Explorer should be able to use the speed which is exported from UgCS.

    • @sphengineering
      @sphengineering  Год назад +1

      @@vizitiualex Sure. Process is the following:
      1. Create a route in UgCS
      2. Export it to KML (selecting Format: Placemarks, Altitude: Relative to ground under 1st point
      3. Transfer exported KML file to your iPhone (via usb cable, airdrop, e-mail, various different ways)
      4. In Autel Explorer on iOS go to route import and select the KML file
      5. Add camera actions and fly

    Will the evo 2 be compatible with the mobile app?

    • @sphengineering
      @sphengineering  3 года назад

      The mobile app "UgCS for DJI" is required only as middleware to connect UgCS desktop with DJI drones.
      To plan missions for AUTEL's EVO II please check this documentation wiki.ugcs.com/How_to_export_route_for_Autel_Evo_in_.kml_format_from_UgCS_(Autel_Explorer_application_Android_only)

    Too bad, I could use this app, but your prices are beyond ridiculous. And you want a credit card number for a trial???? Too Funny. Or am I missing something?

    • @sphengineering
      @sphengineering  3 года назад

      It looks like we should get into a discussion as we have some questions for you - what is your application scenario (to understand which license is the best for you)? If you don't need the LiDAR or Video Stream functionality, then UgCS PRO is right for you. The current price is 39 USD for a monthly subscription or 600 USD for a lifetime = perpetual license = one-time purchase (+ yearly support starting the second year if you wish to upgrade to newer versions). www.ugcs.com/pricing
      Also, please check for special offers/discounts offered by SPH Engineering's official resellers in your location www.ugcs.com/resellers#canada
      The email and card information is part of the subscription process as validation because a software activation code has to be issued for you to activate UgCS. The card data is not accessible to our company - it is validated via a certified payment gateway. You can choose PayPal as a payment option.
      The subscription can be cancelled at any time with no cancellation fees or any other hidden fees. Subscribe, test - decide and cancel any time if UgCS doesn't suit your application!
      We would be happy to continue the discussion with you directly - please reach out to ugcs@ugcs.com and let's discuss everything in detail!
      Safe flights!
      All prices without Tax/VAT.

      @@sphengineering To ask for card in order to activate a Trial smells like scam.
      Also a lot of problems were with companies that used with bad intentions the card data as if your trial expire and you do not send explicit intention to NOT CONTINUE, they start charging the card monthly.
      This is usually reported to bank as a fraud, but takes nerves and time to deal with it..
      So... Advice: if you want to test the app, don't ask for card... Because I was interested too but seeing this I backed up, no intentions to put my card for a trial.
      Good luck

      - There are more than one reasons why SPH has chosen to request to add payment information to a subscription. In this day and age if you are worried about a scam, its so easy to just use a disposable virtual card (most banks and certainly all internet based banks offer them) to sign up and then if you forget to cancel the membership, or they do turn out to be a scam, nothing happens. If I decide after the 2 week trial that I do want to continue using the software (because it is so much cheaper than the competition) then I will just change my card info to an active card.
