Terrific!! Thank you very much!! I was a little anxious about the aspect of having to change a battery during a route but you just came in with the perfect video. You guys rock!!! My job starts on the second week of November so I might share my experience with you pretty soon.
Wow, thank you for the inspirational feedback! We would be delighted to receive feedback / comments / suggestions from user experience with UgCS! Please write to support@ugcs.com!
Awesome job, as usual!!! Sabine explained me how to do a "change battery" mission, and this tutorial is the cherry on top. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
you all prolly dont care but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Ford Colby I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This video is outdated. The options in the "Parameters" window look nothing like the video, in the current version of the software. Can you make an updated video that covers the starting waypoint?
Yes, the video is made on older version of UgCS. Kindly see : - the latest How-To Photogrammetry article for mission planning www.ugcs.com/photogrammetry - route continuation after battery change ruclips.net/video/i7WBWHEkq-0/видео.html - the updated for magnetic and other low altitude mission planning How-To, if you are required to fly in terrain following mode www.ugcs.com/ugcs-to-plan-magnetic-and-other-low-altitude-uav-survey-missions. If you require any further support, please reach out to support@ugcs.com.
This video is out of date with how UgCS works now. I am just learning the software, on version 4..685, so I can't explain how it works now.. but the major differences are that there is some new way of handling stopping the mission, and resuming it, you don't have to memorize the waypoint number yourself. Also the means of setting a home point seems to have changed. It is no longer under the Route Card/gear menu/Parameters
For any of the UgCS mission, it is possible to change the Start point of flight, .i.e. after a battery change to set from which waypoint the mission has to be continued. If you haven't used UgCS - download at ugcs.com/download and try the functionality with emulators, or request a 14days trial code within the soft for full functionality. For more detailed info visit wiki.ugcs.com or send a message to support@ugcs.com.
We use SRTM, that is created by the principals of DEM - i.e. bare-earth raster grid. Trees elevation is not by default in UgCS - but you can import your own elevation dataset or trees as 3D objects of your interested area. More info on DEM import here: ruclips.net/video/CLDeXy4pUXI/видео.html

typo.. Version 4.7.685
Ok, See below in the comments links to updated videos. Thanks.
Can this be done with UgCS's Facade scan output?

What about tree elevation and clearance? Are you using a DTM or a DEM?

P.S. can you give some example of your planned flight, so we can provide a more precise answer. You can reach out to us by writing to support@ugcs.com
Hi, nice video. I have a question: Can I import a dem file to my study area in order that my drone can follow this elevation model ?.
Thanks.
Yes, UgCS supports the import of DEM as map overlay.
UgCs costly !!
