this dude actually DOES something unlike the other teams, well i agree, team plasma did do something amazing.. but this guy made a whole freaking army of powerful pokemon!
the moment i saw this guy i knew he would be the final boss it was way too obvious :P i didnt even have to look him up online i knew he was evil but i didnt know he was so evil he had 7 pokemon he broke a rule god that battle to an age and a half to win cause i wanted to catch all of his pokemon in one go i think it ended up bein a 1:30 hour battle
Rule for Pokemon Plot Twists: ALWAYS have the main boss of an Evil Group unknown until halfway through the game, and ALWAYS make them a character you meet in the beginning and never see again up to that point
When Es Cade turned out to be evil in Colosseum, I flipped out. When Greevil did, I was like "Eh. He didn't leave that much of an impression". Evil Mayor of Utopian City > Evil Rich Guy
@TheKoopakirby Well,to be honest,I found that the mayor being the villain was really ridiculous.Unexpected, yes but I just couldn't take it seriously.Considering he looked like a living circus act and only showed up at the last moments of the game to have a battle with you.Greevil on the other hand looked like an old man that'll help you out during a certain moment, but he wasn't,he made the game feel much darker with his dialogue, his eyes, his hideout, almost everything.Just my opinion though.
I really don't think that rule applies to most games. Even Black and White don't follow it, since you don't personally meet Ghetsis until the end, though you do see his performances throughout.
hahahahha i have this game and i beat him like anytime i wanted because i had sceptile, blaziken, and swampert.. i lve the ending where everybody comes oput and looks into the sky...... if only i could find my darn gamecube memorycard......

Ghetsis took lessons from Greevil in BW2; he has Kyurem followed by his 6-pokemon team.
those guys are so evil that they broke a fundamental rule of pokemon they must be punished
What happens when you mix Greedy and evil together?
Greevil.
Mermaid Man: GREEEEEVEEEEEEL!!!
I like this theme, it's unique for Pokemon

11 years later another guy broke a rule ;)
How come I just now realized that the word "evil" is in his name!

what is Buddha doing in pokémon??
his eyes... they scare me to hell and back and AGAIN AND AGAIN!
Maybe I'd trust him if I hadn't already been skullfucked by another "friendly old man" a year prior.

I always was irritated on those old hags who where in love with "Mr. Verich" when he was a madman trying to take over the world.
i always call him Baby Greevil! LOL
When i first got the game back in 05 and i saw the name "Greevil" i knew he had to be the bad guy lol
When I first got the game, and he had his two "bodygauards", I immediatly said, "well, I think we may have found out boss...". Lucky guess or what? xD

Lol, this song is WAY more epic for a final battle encounter theme than Nascour's.
The Dalai Lama of Pokemon LOL
Never trust someone wearing that shade of purple
knew something wasn't right with with him when I first played the game
