Beautiful sound. The tom's attack and sweetness are unique from DW drums. Few drummers and people can notice this like a good and expensive process of wood working (sorry, im not native english speaker), so this is a very well made drums and the sound is great. TAMA, Mapex, Sonor drums also sounds great, but in their own way and form.
Yes dw tune al their drums but I have tune mine to the timbre note of the shells but I'm not satisfied probably it's because I still have factory heads!

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't DW tune them before they leave the factory? Obviously he has new heads but just was curious.

What I would suggest doing is taking each drum into a different room and individually tuning them one by one...sometimes that helps
