I saw Christian’s video and screenshotted the same view as you (among others), but I started with the simpler “fluttering leaf”! ! I love his art and I love the Swedish winter scenery. Also loving this picture and that paint, the sort of effect that gets my heart pounding 😅
Thank you! There's a well known art gallery (even though it's in a tiny village) about 30 miles from where I live and they had an exhibition of originals by Christian about a month ago which I managed to get to see. Very inspirational.
So atmospheric, it’s wonderful! I notice Quink blue/black ink separates like this but more Paynes grey and yellow ochre colours. Lovely effect. Thanks.
Amazing! Love it. Do you mean that you only used the Tundra Violet? Please post more videos. really like your technique. I think though that it is quite difficult to do.
Thank you! yes, I only used Tundra Violet on this painting. I have done a series of similar paintings with the same technique. There's a playlist on my channel: ruclips.net/video/AaC-ZUjxqvA/видео.html

Thank you. Do give it a go with the basting brush, it's a lot of fun.
